Just when you thought this NBA/China thing could not get any more disgusting, ESPN (who is reporting from China this week) opened their 7am Sportscenter today by showing a China-supplied graphic of China that included the 9-dashed-marks indicated the South China Sea is a part of China, something that is heavily disputed.

Is this really what being "woke" has become?

The Rockets played a preseason game in China today -- was supposed to be broadcast live at like 5am -- NBA TV took it off

And, at and near the arena, they removed all Rockets logos and even painted over the team name on signage. They also denied the Rockets access to the gym for practice. They had to find a school tthat let them use their court.

Their mission failed as the arena was packed, despite the fact that there was no advertising and all the sponsors withdrew. The CCP had been pushing a narrative that this backlash is all about the people. The attendance here showed that to be false

Steve Kerr is a Communist apologist. That display of false moral equivalence between US crime and government censorship, murder, concentration camps, etc. is disgusting.

Yet in the United States he is free to express his opinion criticizing the government but in China he doesnt dare criticize the government. I'd love to hear his explanation of equivalence there.
