Or should it be a blue button? That’s another thread for the WM.We need a red button that automatically moves a thread to WM that can be activated by anyone. LOL
I'd hit the red button on this^^^^^ if I had one because, if you did this^^^^^, people would "go nuclear" over every little thing, mcWe need a red button that automatically moves a thread to WM that can be activated by anyone. LOL
Dion, As long as we are making requests...Or should it be a blue button? That’s another thread for the WM.
Apparently OU having a hard time controlling the inmates. OU can manipulate around the legal system but apparently cannot evade a virus. But it does seem that they are now Smokelahoma:

Bingo!!Maybe yellow for "piss off"
The time is now Tom and Company. Get those boyz ready and let us strike a mighty blow.Smokelahoma has reached a decision, man
Oklahoma is 'committed' to continue on toward 2020 football season despite report
This idea did pass one hurdle
Still has another hurdle to become official
This is what likely happened: at start of camp they tested everybody. As previously mentioned, some percentage will have COVID but no symptoms and some will test positive but already over the illness (non-contagious). Note there was no mention of anyone being symptomatic. Vanderbilt is behind the curve compared to UT.Now, I'm not trying to be a big meanie-head by saying this, but this story below is a great example of the illogical, unreasoned, and unnecessary knee-jerk reactions pervasive in many instances throughout the pandemic. Let's reason together here...
Many many many sports teams have reconvened at this point, college and pro. In every single case....every single one.....there have been positive tests -many times over a dozen or more - and in every single case it is handled effectvely, efficiently and without serious consequence or detriment to the team or staff and, quite soon, players are reintroduced to team, tests are negative, soon no positives at all, and the entire team (one b1g player who was improperly treated notwithstanding, though he even rejoined team) moves on with normal operations. So...yeah...it make sense for Vandy to suspend football activities due to a few positive tests. Does appear all the kiddos who weren't taught critical thinking in public school are grown up now and running some of these places...
Vandy halts football after positive virus tests
Maybe behind the curve compared to everyone who reported to camp with intentions of playing - except those who completely bailed/CXd ball altogether??This is what likely happened: at start of camp they tested everybody. Vanderbilt has profited greatly from the pandemic and is a leading advocate for keeping it going. My wife works there. During the worst part of the pandemic, she was REQUIRED to come to work to conduct teletherapy lessons from her office as no patients were allowed. Of course, teletherapy could easily be performed from home. Now, I'm not trying to be a big meanie-head by saying this, but this story below is a great example of the illogical, unreasoned, and unnecessary knee-jerk reactions pervasive in many instances throughout the pandemic. Since ICU bed space was an issue when the season was being debated 4 weeks ago, I would like to report that it is now down 60% from peak in the Houston region according to the Chron. We are about 100 beds away from the May 1 - June 15 baseline.
Very interesting insight. Thanks, iis.Vanderbilt has profited greatly from the pandemic and is a leading advocate for keeping it going. My wife works there. If only they had read Horns Fans and seen my charts. SMH.The B1G story just gets weirder and weirder.
This is what happens when emotion (and politics) trumps sound reason...
