So how did we win—with the refs?Glad we won but we got outplayed and outcoached.
They threw the ball 46 times? Wow.You let your emotions form your opinion. Ewers. 20/30 322 yards avg 10.8 per throw 3 TDs (and a 2pt TD) 1 int—— other guy. 24/46 222 yards avg 4.8 yards per throw ; 0 TDS 1 int.
So - who was the better QB? Me thinks Ewers wins that one.You let your emotions form your opinion. Ewers. 20/30 322 yards avg 10.8 per throw 3 TDs (and a 2pt TD) 1 int—— other guy. 24/46 222 yards avg 4.8 yards per throw ; 0 TDS 1 int.
I am 64-year-old disabled veteran with 6 knee surgeries, a broken back, and cancer......I can't do any worse.Well, the Best team won, inspire of themselves.
BTW, Quinn was lights out on overtime. And the pass defense got the interception to seal it it
I’ll take the win, even though it was special teams ugly.
Anyone in HORNFANS who could walk on as our kicker before the next game?
Yeah whatever man, far from the truth. All you do is copy and paste thousands of tweets. As opposed to someone who's only contribution to this board is negative comments.
It would seem you only want rose-colored glass views. Some of us call it like we see it, and if the effort is not getting results, it DESERVES to be called out.As opposed to someone who's only contribution to this board is negative comments.
If you told me that Texas would have 53 yards rushing, I would conclude that Arizona State won the game.53 yards rushing won't cut it.
I took that from the box score, but I admit, it sounds wrongThey threw the ball 46 times? Wow.
Go back and watch klatt’s preview as it was spot on about college teams not being asked to play well two games in a row. It was spot on. Good news is Texas can now play well next game. That was one UGLY win. ASU outplayed the Horns. Horns have to play better next week. Congratulations to ASU for a superb effort.
That does not bode well for the Championship gameGo back and watch klatt’s preview as it was spot on about college teams not being asked to play well two games in a row. It was spot on. Good news is Texas can now play well next game.
Our D played lights out and kept us in the game long enough for us to make the plays to win. We got beat in every category today except the final score - but the D did just enough to save the game and continue the season. So how did we win—with the refs?
You said our coaches were out coached and our players were outplayed, so unless you were being sarcastic, how do you explain that we won?VY u must not have been watching the game huh?
Referees nonexistent all game..uncatchable?
Im sure it kills some on here that ewers got us in position to kick winning fg in regulation ,threw 2 td passes and a 2 point conversation to win it in overtime. With no running game by the way.So - who was the better QB? Me thinks Ewers wins that one.
Suck it, Leavitt.
When Texas needed it, the offense stepped up. No reasonable person would have expected it based on the body of play in the second half. But, they pulled it out. The INT at the end was the icing on the cake. Our D played lights out and kept us in the game long enough for us to make the plays to win. We got beat in every category today except the final score - but the D did just enough to save the game and continue the season.
