Boy Scouts

Monahorns, nobody knows the answer to your question. I have not known very many twins in my life. However, one set that I do know (one married my cousin), are different in some ways. They look and sound exactly alike, but are different is their personalities (especially a sense of humor) and they married very different types of woman. I know, that doesn't really mean anything except that twins are not exactly alike in every way.

EH, you're right I don't think anyone knows exactly the answer. But I think we should all realize from this examples that sexuality isn't completely a genetic thing. It may be a factor but this situation points to there being more factors, possibly many more. The fact that twins display other differences of personality should give us an area to look into. I think personality is a key. I think understanding the personality could be enlightening. Personally, I think it points to the soul, some part of us that transcends the physical. The problem many will have with that is that it doesn't normalize homosexual behavior. It points to sexuality is a spiritual issue, which is then points to God being involved. Oh no! Can't have God involved in our sexuality!

The article is interesting. There is also evidence in the field that personal experiences and education shape our brains' structure. Memory and other brain functions are accomplished through physical structural changes like folds. So I am not surprised that people who have common desires share some common brain features.
