Came across this article on 247Sports from Carl Reed - he nailed it.

"My coach is yelling at us because we are laughing after losing our fourth game in a row. So instead of listening and being accountable, I am going to record him and hopefully he comes under fire and has to apologize. Maybe he even loses his job if I’m lucky. Because telling people I play for Texas is fun, but having Bo Davis yell at me is not fun."

If players weren't telling them to Shut the F up, then yes, they are all candy asses.

It should be pretty easy to tell who filmed it from the angle. Coaches and Players know. I'm hoping they lose their scholarship and get removed from the team.
 
Let's start a thread with odds and poster's picks on who the player is who shared the video.

If I was the guy I would quickly claim it with a smile and try to say I thought it was awesome and wanted to share it because I loved it so much lol

Team refers to the whole team and not just who was on that bus or a couple of candyasses who laughed. If truly the entire team decided this then this is the first step to team unity. I would assume he would also let the team decide if the candyasses who laughed stay. We need team leaders and this is exactly how we move towards that. Man, I'm getting a little excited by this news if true.

Could it be that there are many current and former(recent even) players who have felt like this and wanted this and have known what part of the problem was but no one would step up? Will this open the door for leaders to arise?(which they should have before anyway but...)
Maybe a lot more people have been feeling what Bo felt but haven't had the guts to say it and now are coming out in agreement maybe not with his exact words.. but with the sentiment. Sure seems like it.
We should get a little more info (at least from current players) on the field this week.
 
FWIW, one rumor out there is that it might have been Foster, or some other defensive starter. Regardless, we need (or needed) something to shake up the program and one could argue that we have needed that someone or something to change the direction of the program since 2010.

I see Sark’s press conference tomorrow as being potentially pivotal. He can embrace Davis’ passion, choose to ignore the subject (when asked…”it’s an internal matter”) or attempt to appease those who are offended by tempering the message. I really hope he embraces the passion. That’s what he needs to do, even if the woke University power base is telling him to smooth things over.

Bob Knight was ridiculed, derided, eventually fired for this kind of outburst on occasion. I doubt Bo will suffer the same consequences and hopefully he'll be appreciated by Orangebloods
 
These quotes really stood out and resonated with me...

Sounds like Bo Davis AGREED with my assessment from a couple weeks ago. BTW, thanks for the numerous poop votes. You should check yourselves.

I think the drill sergeants and company commanders have watched that movie for inspiration ever since it came out. Here's a few of the funny things shouted at recruits that I still remember from way back in my Company:

"SKULL--YOU LOOK LIKE THE OFFSPRING OF AN ELEPHANT THAT WAS RAPED BY A HIPPOPOTAMUS! DROP LARDA$$!!!"

"FLY THE F@CK AWAY HICKERPANTS (Hickerson)! FLAP YOUR WINGS AND FLY THE f@CK AWAY YOU FAIRY!!!"

And of course, we heard the "steers and queers" thing about Texans. When confronted with that, one of the guys from Texas (there were many) said he was a steer. So he had to crawl around in big circles on the deck saying "moooooo, mooooo, moooooo."

Looking back, it was part intense workout, part psychological testing to see if you'd crack, and part comedy show.

As far as Bo Davis goes:

I think the 2 interior DL have been mostly ok. Nobody's going to mistake them for DeGrate, McMichael, Casey Hampton, or Shearer, but... Sweat's been pretty good at times.

The DE/Jack/Edge have not generated nearly enough pass rush. That's my biggest disappointment for the D this year. I think this is PK's position. Outside LBs are the Jack and Edge in this defense.
