And I thought Sled was one issue all Longhorns could agree upon
Or maybe you just like the new up and comer sled as opposed to the one thats been on campus and earned the right to be the number one Sled? Who knows, just don't prop one sled up by tearing down another, it's against the guildlines.
I had toyed with the idea of buying some ou paperclip stickers and putting them on the sled to see if there was an affect on the level of effort during drills.
On Hornfans there's a really long thread
It's appetite must constantly be fed
Just see how it's grown
With a life of it's own
All hail, the greatness of Sled
To sled, or not to sled: that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous web forums,
Or to take shoulders & arms against a sled,
And by pushing it? To run block: to pancake;
No Nunez; and by a sled to say we end the streak of 3
The heart-ache and the thousand natural October shocks
That flesh is heir to Mad Dog & McWorter consummation
Devoutly to be pushed. To run block, to pancake;
To pancake: perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub;
For in that sled of struggle what dreams may come
When we have sledded off these mortal foes,
Must give us pause: there's the respect
That makes horns so long ;
For who would bear the sled of Autumn,
. . .
"...We shall not flag nor fail. We shall sled on to the end. We shall fight in Austin and on the high plains and costal prarie; we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the sled. We shall defend our Cotton Bowl, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight in the West End, we shall push the sled, we shall fight on the fields and in the tunnel, we shall fight in the stands; we shall never surrender.
