Blocking Sled

Do you think that we should bring it to games with us, like some school brings that old lunch pale? That would be pretty cool a blocking sled at Kyle Field next year.

Another note will the sleds be available for pictures and autographs after the spring game?

HOLD ON JUST A MINUTE!!!! Let me ask you this... Has anyone seen a Longhorn OL actually push the sled? I didn't think so...

It's not a blocking sled!!!
IT'S A POINTING SLED!!!

The Link
"For the O-line, the Mod Sled is ideal for drive blocking and zone blocking. Run drills to improve pass protection and combination blocks."

grumble... zone blocking.... grumble...

Nunez's last word after leaving the job was a whisper - "Rosebud".

Who knew, it was a sled?

By the way, new rule of the Blocking Sled Thread, when you start a new page you must repost the picture of the sled for us all to admire.

I dont know, BigWill posted it on page 1...If its not the new sled, someone should drive by the practice field and snap a picture of the real sled. If our O-line dominates next year, I will frame it and stick it on my wall.

The Sled, she don't play favorites.

First team, Second team. Senior, Freshman. Blue chip, Walk On. She don't care. You're all just a piece of meat. She seen 'em come and go. And she will still be taking it when your to old and tired to get it up. All comers step up. It's time to learn how to be a man.

And that's a beautiful thing.

Gawd I hated those damn things. I was a 165 lb tight end in high school and of course had to push it with the other lineman. Pro right meant the sled did a clockwise turn around me.
