I don't know how anything gets decided in prosecuting.
USA today reports Police went to residence at 2:07 am on a " disturbance- urgent call
Local CBS reported police went to residence at 12: 15 am.
"On December 12, 2022, at approximately 12:15 a.m., the Austin Police Department (APD) received a 9-1-1 call for a disturbance in the 1900 block of Vista Lane. The caller reported the disturbance was no longer ongoing and one of the individuals had left the house. APD officers responded and located a woman who stated she had been assaulted and strangled by Christopher Michael Beard."
ESPN reported ," Austin police told ESPN they received a "disturbance hotshot" call, and officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Vista Lane shortly after midnight Monday. The Austin Police Department's website defines a "hotshot" call as "incidents which are in progress are an immediate threat to life and/or public safety. ... These calls are dispatched immediately.
So did the police show up at 12:15 am or 2:07 am
Did Beards finance tell poliece when they got there Beard had choked her
Or had she left? And who then told the police it was no longer on going. And how did the police find Beard's fiance later, where?
The facts here are as muddled as the Paul Pelosi case.
No wonder police reports are considered hearsay.
