AP Poll

One of Michigan and Ohio State will necessarily lose. UW will have a tough time remaining undefeated. FSU narrowly escaped Duke and will have some more challenging games. It’s all on us to win out.

Stupid. Weren’t we 8 before barley defeating the powerhouse Houston? And they may have lost (again) but USC is capable of surprising anyone with Williams. Not a fan but recognize the talent.

You get credit for winning trap games. In retrospect, UH was a trap game after we went up 21-0. We set the trap ourselves!

I was very disappointed in the performance yesterday, especially from play calling. But they won to move to 6-1. At this time of the year, you win and move up.

Well, at least all can rest at ease knowing that Abilene Christian could never upset a major state university at any of the major men's sports--like football or basketball...

If TX and OU are both moving to the SEC, where are all the remaining B12 powerhouse teams in this poll???!??:idk:

O - still has USC, Oregon St, Cal, and ASU, then PAC champ game

UW - still has USC, Utah, Oregon St and Wash St, then PAC champ game

FSU - still has Pitt, Miami, Florida, and No. Ala., then ACC champ game (against Louisville?)

Ohio St - still has Rutgers, Mich St, Minnesota, and Michigan, then B1G champ game?

Michigan - still has Purdue, Penn St, Maryland, and Ohio State, then B1G champ game?

B1G West - 4 way tie currently - Iowa, Wisc, Nebraska, Minnesota.

There's a fair chance that both UW and O will both lose a game and drop.

FSU has the easiest road.

If Michigan has 1 loss, people will vote them down and out (this sign stealing stuff has the college football world turned against them).

We are gonna win out and finish 5th, though that would require the teams above us to win out too which isn’t likely.
Nah. Win out and we will be in…

OSU & MI cancel out. Plus, MI could be disqualified regardless.

OR & WA probably cancel out. I expect for WA to lose one game, regardless. Both have challenges left.

FSU has three tough games left. They’ll lose one.

TX with be team 4, if we take care of business.

If Alabama, with one loss (?), beats Georgia in the SEC championship, what a mess! In that scenario, I can’t see Georgia going ahead of Alabama, and I can’t see Alabama going ahead of Texas.

Wolverine wouldn’t be cancelled this season, maybe next. Honestly, if milk steak leaves after this season (unknown) they may (unlikely) rescind a penalty.

Even worse is if OSU (or MI), FSU, UW, TX, and AL win out. The committee would be under immense (and reasonable) pressure to leave the SEC out.
