It breaks my heart to see a little girl like that taken hostage. I can't even imagine the horror it must be for her. Thank God she was released.

A Russian-Israeli hostage who managed to escape from Hamas was recaptured and returned to the militants, before being finally released on Sunday, his aunt has said.
Roni Kriboy was abducted from the Nova music festival during the Hamas terror attack on October 7, and was then held at a building in Gaza, Yelena Magid told Israeli radio station Kan Reshet B on Monday.
The 25-year-old dual national managed to escape when the building was bombed, but after hiding out for a few days, he was caught and returned to Hamas, Magid said during a call to the radio station.
“He said that he was kidnapped by terrorists and they brought him inside some building,” she said.
“I understood from the bombings, the building collapsed and he managed to escape from there… and for several days he hid there and was alone and in the end the Gazans caught him and returned him to the hands of the terrorists,” Magid added.
“He tried to reach the border. I think that because he didn’t have the means to understand his whereabouts and where to run away, he probably got into a bit of disorientation there in the area. He was alone for four days,” she added.
Kriboy suffered a head injury when the building he was being held in collapsed, but is doing fine now, Magid told the radio station.

Wouldn't the State Dept have been in contact with Qatar who would recommend Americans get released? Is there not a list going back and forth of who one side wants released and who the other side promises to release? How can you get to we have no idea but we hope?

This is why I'm 100% good with destroying Gaza and any inhabitants that didn't leave when prompted by Israel after 10/7. We should have given hamas 5 days to turn over the hostages. After any denial, full retaliation and obliteration.

So when one group of Gazans captures a hostage and returns him to Hamas that justifies killing all Gazans. That is the opposite of justice. That is basically Progressive social justice like the Democrats are inflicting on us in the US.
No Gazans were told to leave Gaza. They were told to move from the North to the South Gaza or vice versa. Then Israel bombed the refugee camp that they told the Gazans to go because MAYBE there was a a guy from Hamas in there.
If you pursue "full retaliation and obliteration" to those holding hostages what happens to the hostages? Isn't killing hostages worse than capturing and holding hostages? None of this sounds logical or rational.

I don't remember ever seeing any reports communicating that. All I saw were reports telling Gazans to flee their homes by text or dropping pamphlets. Many did flee to areas that were purported to be "safe" that later were proven not to be.
That information was put out on Newsmax and Fox channels long ago. Would you have expected the administration or Cnn or Msnbc to report it. The Egyptians, Jordanians, and other Arab countries do not want these Palestinians. That is why they want a two state solution. They do not want them in their countries.

What is the point of your last statement? I understand that the Gazans haven't be relocated to other Arab countries. How does Israel telling them to leave justify bombing them? You have already admitted that Israel gave them a command they had no way to obey? I'm sure Israel understands the facts on the ground better than any of us here. So they knew there was no way for Gazans to leave Gaza.

SN-News today said they THINK that all the American hostages. are men and no men have been released. The white house also stated that they were not sure how many americans are held hostage. When the Iranians held our people we knew how many andthe news reported everyday how many days the Americans were held hostage. Man how things have changed in this country.
