2025 Softball Season

I will "try" to get exact details.
Here is what I gathered from the brief conversation I got from her from inning 1 through 7.
Teagan started for the Longhorns and Kennedy started for the Aggies.
Atwood hit the 3-run homer inning 1.
Aggies Mac Barbara came back with a 3-run homer bottom of the 1st.
A few innings later, Sparks was the new pitcher for Aggies.
Gutierrez started inning 4. Aggies were able to hit off her.
Stewart hit a HR following inning.
Peters was the 3rd pitcher for the Aggies.
Salmon came in inning 4 or 5 after Gutierrez gave up 3 back to back to back hits
and the score then was 6-9, Aggies.
Mia was not in uniform and looked like a boot over one of her ankles.
Atwood threw a nice out to 1B getting KK or Kylei (fast baserunner)? out when she was too far off 1B.
That was nice to see from her aggressive base running. After that, she was not so far off the bases next time around.
Mac nor Simpson pitched.
Longhorns mainly played non-starters.

Mac started. Mia & Vivi are not to be seen. Leighann at SS & Bennett on 2 nd
 
OLLU got 2 runs in the 3rd. Got 3 solid hits off of Mac
Texas got nothing. Reese walked.
Horns 4. OLLU 2 end of 3
 
4th inning. 2 SO’s and one ground out for Mac in the 4 th. She acted like she was pissed off.
Texas with 5 runs in the 4th. 3 straight walks. Quiroga gets hit up the middle. 1 run. Wallace gets hit to left 2 rbi. Bennett hit by pitch. Cimusz singles 1 rbi. Joley singles 1 rbi. Reese flies out. Stevie flies out. I missed an out somewhere?

5th inning. Mia is in at SS?? Goode to 2nd. Simpson pitching!! Joley on 1st and stewey on 3rd. Lead off hit. Batter 2 fly out to left. Batter 3 walk. Batter 4 s/o. Batter 5 popup. 0 runs
Henry leads off. Walks. Goode: off the wall double Henry scores. Mia single to right. Cimusz up with 2 on. Singles to left Goode scores. Rachel wells up to bat. She strikes out badly! Ashton singles Mia scores. Quiroga singles Another score. Joley: hit to left Maloney scores. Reese. Flies out. I got distracted so I may have missed something.
Texas 15. OLLU 2
 
6th inning Stewart at SS. Mia on 3rd?? Simpson with 3 strikeouts. Her change up was killing them.
Stewart with a home run to left!!!! Henry singles. Mia walks. Cimusz s/o. Rachel wells: fly out I missed an out somewhere.

7th inning Cam salmon in to pitch. S/O, ground out, ground out to steward who bobbles it but gets the out at first!

Salmon pitching, Stewart catcher, joley 1st Bennett 2nd Goode SS, Mia on 3rd. Hunter, Henry and Maloney.
1:pop up, 2: s/o, 3 double to left, 4: fly out to left.
Maloney beat out a grounder, Mia: grounds out. Joley: grounds out Maloney on 3rd. Reese: off right field wall! Maloney scores. Steward flys out.

Vivi Martinez came on the field at the end and she had a big wrap on her knee! She was hobbling and it did not look good. I overheard someone say that they thought that she had torn her acl and is out for the year! Ugh!!!
Leighann good can cover at SS but we will really miss her bat if this is true!!

That's rough. Was poised for a big year the way she ended 2024. At least we have the fall to prepare for it. Sounds like the SS options are Leighann Goode, Katie Stewart, and Mia Scoot. I've never scene Mia Scott play short though.

Vivi with Citlaly and Reese dove hunting. Agree Jacob, even with the knee brace she does not look like it is a serious injury!

Glove Day! 18 players present and 20 pictured on the roster. I do not see Vivi or Rachel Wells?

Coach White has the team and Coaches go all out for Halloween! See Vivi in the mix with her knee brace on! Don’t see Rachel Wells though.
