Mac gotta show more upperCLASS when being pulled from a game!!!! you just didnt have it today . Show the in coming pitcher some support before you go running into the lockeroom

Gonna have to defend Mac here...Maybe she wasn't feeling well today, ya just never know.
Riddle me this, softball stat folks:
Citlaly comes in with runners on 1st and 3rd, they eventually score but since Mac was responsible for them being on base, she gets dinged for their ER. I think Mac's ERA was 15.00 for this game, and Citlaly finished with ERA (for the game) of 0.00.
But Citlaly shuts them down for the rest of the game and we win 8-5. Is Citlaly credited with the win or a save? I think a save is if we were tied when she came in right?

she is credited the win because Mac was already behind 3-1 when she got pulled. she was also responsible for those 2 runners that were on base that ended up scoring when she was pulled which ultimately affects Mac’s ERA.
Do you know for a fact that her actions were emotional and not something else? Did you not see her in the dugout or after the game in the lineup? Maybe you could wait before you critique one of our players.I think they deserve that.
We’ll be ok. Of course I don’t like us getting down by 3 or 4 runs, but the Horns have enough to fight back and put enough runs on the board to be victorious. So far that is.
SEC play will be really interesting.
The SEC part is what kinda concerns me. We have a tough SEC schedule ahead.
The standard "third time through" when we see the same pitcher (who is giving us fits) still holds true. The concern is if we can hold their hitters at bay until we get third time through. Stanford was an example of getting hit around early, which didn't give us the time to adjust to the pitcher. USF was a slightly lower quality opponent jumping on top of us. I am concerned, but I'm not concerned. The issue is if we see a coach decide to rotate pitchers every 2 innings in order to confuse our hitting plan - which I've seen. Then it comes back to if our pitchers can keep the run count low.
Mac is having an "Estelle Czech" year - getting lit up early, sometimes.
Salmon the wildcard. The opposing teams don't have enough film on her, but will catch up mid-year...except we have 4 good pitchers so the amount of film will be less.
Kevan - lots of focus on her and lots of film study. But again, she'll be 1 of 4 teams might face.
Citlaly - not a lot of attention on her. She pitched the 3rd most innings last year.

In regards to Mac. Yes, i thought it was strange that she hustled off straight into the locker room when she was pulled. But it's a combination of: Anger at herself and Emotion of wanting to cry.
You say you want your players to play with passion but you want to them to keep their emotion in check. Well, she kept her emotion in check on the mound, but she should let it out (inside the clubhouse) and not in front of fans. Darned if you do and darned if you don't.
She didn't go into the dugout and start trashing it and yelling at her teammates. Yeah, she didn't acknowledge Gutierrez, but I think they've been teammates 3 years and I suspect Citlaly was cool with that.
I'd rather have the running into the locker room to cry in private rather than sauntering into the dugout with an "Oh well" attitude.
