2024 Presidential Election: let the jockeying commence

Yep, almost like Lenny Skutnik jumping into the icy Potomac after the Air Florida crash. He did it without thinking. Manchin knows what he is in for, but did the right thing, anyway.

He'd be in for worse if he had gone along. The media would like him more, but his constituents would like him less. After the '22 election he needs to switch parties.

Where did Sinema end up on BBB?

I don't think she's on board either but hasn't directly said "No" like he has. One of the things that makes it tough is that they don't oppose it entirely for the same reasons. Both of them don't like the cost, which is insane. However, Manchin doesn't like the green crap but is ok with the prescription drug changes. Sinema is ok with some of the green crap but doesn't like the in prescription drug stuff, which Manchin is more ok with. So you need both of them, but if you make the bill more tolerable to Manchin, it becomes less so for Sinema and vice versa.

I can’t believe Georgia will vote for a Dem senator again in 2022 unless they are masochists.

If Abrams is on the ballot for Gov in the same election that a Senatorial race is going on that's good for the Dems. She'll pull a decent amount of voters to get out.
A friend of mine was talking to his financial adviser who said he was overloaded on calls from concerned clients about the effect of BBB on their investments, taxes, etc. Financial adviser said you get the politician that you vote for. The upper middle class in GA won’t be voting for the Trotskyite’s any time soon.

Don't Dems want to abolish College Station? Oh wait, no, it's that little Constitutional protection called the Electoral College they want to abolish.

Well if you don't think it was last time then you need to move to College Station.

It had more to do with several states breaking their own election laws with massive unsecure mail in ballots than anything else. I know you still think its a conspiracy but when people are doing their damnedest to not let you look at public info you should know something is up. You won't like what's coming up in Arizona.
