2024 GOP Primary

Trump +2 in NH. It’s game over. Note it was conducted before the debate.

Trump is leading last 9 polls in PA. Recall Trump only needs to win GA + PA = 270 EV.

Trump +6 in latest CNN poll
CNN polls are probably suspect, and their motive now is to remove Biden. Even if not, they can run a poll later to show that after xxxx, the race is miraculously now much closer than early July.

Folks, this is the biggest news of the election by far:

Yeah, maybe it wasn’t the jury verdict that boosted Trump’s numbers, but the fact he was trapped in there for weeks and couldn’t say as many dumb things.

Folks, Trump is operating on a whole new level. His 2nd term promises to be amazing.

I hope DJT saw from the end of his first term just how inadequate Exec. Orders are. They are feel-good measures and do next to nothing to move the needle long term. They are undone 15 minutes after he's left the building. If he truly wants to be considered a great president, he has to figure out a way to implement lasting legislation. Hopefully he wins and hopefully he has learned to work with team-GOP and get legislation passed rather than pyrrhic victories from rallies and Exec Orders.

NYT poll:

Trump +8 RV
Trump +6 LV

Note Trump does better with more voters. This is why rampant GOTV by Dems will backfire unless it is targeted ballot harvesting.

DJT's continued engagement with L. Cheney is asinine. He needs to stop with calls to have anyone tried for a crime. That crap might have kept him solid with his base but it will lose him the moderates and independents. He has just gained the lead. The only thing that keeps him out of the Whitehouse now are unforced errors like looking like the asshat egomaniac that most of America sees him as.

He has to have a supermajority in the Senate to do anything major financially and that isn't going to happen. This is do what you can and if you see a chance pounce on it.

I bet those who see him as a asshat liked the country economy during the asshat term.
Hopefully there's a good plan in place because I think our collective COVID bill is going to come due in the next couple of years. Just saw a news clip where credit card debt has gone from $700B to $1.1T. And now the % carrying balances has grown from 39% to over 50%. I think there is a personal and national debt problem just on the horizon. And unfortunately, this will take much more than just lowering rates to fix. This is a psychological problem. As a nation (collectively and personally) we don't believe in fiscal discipline anymore. Imposing/Encouraging fiscal discipline will feel like a bad economy. Taking our fiscal medicine will be a tough pill to swallow, but it needs to be done. We know Dem's will never do it, so it is up to the GOP. DJT was not that guy before. Will he be that guy the second time around?

Great if Trump can keep his mouth shut and let the Ds implode
Somebody on Trump's team finally
a) gets it
b) has convinced Trump to get it also

What is "it"?

The long established pattern of Democrat and media behavior related to DJT is "it". The pattern goes like this:
1) Dems do something stupid/crooked/felonious/whatever and the media under-reports it, or spins it to minimize damage, like the good little boot-lickers they are.
2) Trump tweets/talks about it. Trump's tweet doesn't capture all of the shades of grey just perfectly, but the tweet/conversation is largely correct, and is spun to make the democrats look bad.
3) Drive-by media immediately makes the story all about the inaccuracy of Trump's tweet, magnifying any shade-of-grey inaccuracy tremendously, while indignantly proclaiming that Trump's lies "endanger our democracy"
4) Drive-by media simultaneously buries the stupid/crooked/felonious behavior the in original story, often going so far as to suggest Trump is only out to smear the most perfect DC swamp angel our country has ever known.

Trump short circuits this whole media circus by simply shutting up. And so far, with respect to Dementia Joe, the media has no clue what the hell to do about it.

I posted an article about how Trump hired the best campaign manager on the GOP side. She has played the lawfare and the other stuff perfectly.

Can you imagine being a democrat these days? Every morning waking up to dread. Do we keep or replace Biden? They are walking to disaster and they know it.

Weird poll. Look how close it is in GA and NC. A poll yesterday had Trump +10 in NC. Also note the large lead in PA. I think someone mixed up the numbers.

I am still 100% concerned Demx will find ways to cheat that will overcome any real people voting. No one knows the number of ballots being given to illegals . They will vote , WHO will challenge these votes? We see states allowing drop boxes. And it has been proven voting machines have been manipulated to change votes.
Not sure there is anyway to stop Demx cheating

No doubt, I'll believe a Rep victory when it's official.

Trump = a moderating force in today's GOP.
"The new draft party platform, which still must get approval from the full Republican National Committee, came after the Trump campaign made a quiet push to keep those seen as too socially conservative off the platform committee out of concern that they would make a vocal push for things like a federal abortion ban, which has consistently been unpopular in public polling."
