2024/25 Portal Transfers

I wish Quinn success whichever path he chooses. He certainly gave Texas all he had and is a lifelong Longhorn.
Yeah. Quinn's been great for us. If Manning is taking over here next year, then who can blame Quinn for going pro or going to Notre Dame. Is he a Catholic?

He could certainly inject a good passing attack into an otherwise very good team.

He's solid but I see this as more of a Norton- or Lole-style pickup than someone as good as Sweat or Murphy. He'll fill in that rotation nicely but not as a star.

Brevard is more likely to be the "breakout" DT for us next season.

I think the rotation will probably start out like this (when 2 DTs are on the field at the same time):
Brevard - Terry
January - Shaw
Hills - Sharma

Terry is going to be an effing beast. Rod Wright basically took over a starting DT spot when he arrived, and I think Terry is way better than Wright ever was in HS.

Is Terry going to be an early enrollee for us? He needs to add some more weight before next season starts.

Seems like once a player portals to another school, they get cold feet and portal again at the least little hiccup at the new school. I can’t even count the number of ex-Texas players portal-ing more than twice.
The madness has to be stopped. One chance to portal, and five years to play four. No and’s,if’s or but’s.

Tommie Harris was 270 when he showed up to OU. While it's nice to have guys pushing 330 or whatever hogging the middle, Terry is more of a rush side DT than a NT. And I think he's going to be our best defensive player eventually.

I meant to add six years to play four. That needs to be there for an injury year. I would believe six consecutive years in college is fair enough time.
I worked all my way through JC then UT, later in life. So I can understand hardships in graduating in four years for sure.
