2023 Texas Rangers

^^^ previous post won't let me edit it for some reason... I was going to add that after winning 6 in a row, the team got a needed day off. They should all be fresh for 3 important games at home before they hit the road to Houston next week.

As H2RA stated Astros think they can make up some ground on the Rangers with the Dodgers in town.

Really pleased Chapman got an extra day of rest...

T6th 4-4 bases juiced for Dodgers 2 outs.

1-2, Burke in relief....pop up and Rangers get out of the jam - whew!!

6-5 LA

Rangers Bullpen revolving door. So far BP has given up 2 runs in the 7th and maybe more in the 8th?

Rangers 8 walks so far :rolleyes1:

Anderson erratic and cannot throw strikes!! Well he rally's and strikes out Freeman!

Base hit on Anderson and Dodgers jump on top 8-5.

Loud bunch of LA fans in the stands tonight.

Meantime another hit on Anderson:

9-5 Dodgers.....crap!

UGLY! Put this one in the rearview mirror and start over on Saturday.
Hope CY is working the telephones on trades for bullpen help - trading deadline is coming!

Sat. - Cory Seager got hurt late last eve. Out of lineup today.

Anyone got an update on him? I didnt hear any tv pregame and I will be in and out of the house this pm.

Before this home stand I would have taken a 6-3 run and been very happy no questions asked how, but if the Rangers don't win today and they end it 6-3 it will be be a pretty big disappointment, 7-2 just would be so much better and get back the momentum headed down to Houston.

Hello win column!!!

Rangers rally baby!

8-4 :texasflag:

Finish homestand 7-2. On to Houston for 3 games.

Okay - nice recovery. Dodgers get a grand slam with one out in th first inning to go up 4-0 - then the Ranger pitchers shut them out for the rest of the game. Ranger hitters wake up and score 8 unanswered runs, and Rangers salvage the last game of the series.
The two blowout losses to the Dodgers were certainly disappointing, but looking back at the three three-game series against top teams, 7-2 is a very good outcome. And it gives the team some positive vibes going into Houston.

Eovaldi was predicted to pitch game 1 vs Stros, but Botchy decided to rest him until probably next cycle.

Gray will pitch Monday eve.

WELL POOP!

A bad day all around for me - had to take wife to ER late this afternoon and was not able to plug into game tracker or nothing. Wife will be OK for now...

Just got home and checked the score - WTF Zealots!!! Rangers pen cannot hold the lead and lose 10-9 in the 9th!!!

OMG - maybe better I didn't see any of this one!?
