Where are the other Zealots tonight? This was another BIG win for this team vs. TB, with the best record in AL!!

Ranger fever becoming a thing
Indeed. And I sincerely hope the local media will cover it - The Cowjerks are about ready to go to summer camp in Oxnard, and I don't want to see the Cows be the lead story in the Sport section while the Rangers are putting together a terrific season.

:texasflag: Rangers definitely with some post all star break momentum, ride this wave as long as possible and bank as many wins as can because there will be some rough weeks ahead and the numbers will even out.

Agree, but probably not going to happen. Jerrah has all of the tv guys in his back pocket.

Rangers win this afternoon to sweep the Rays and continue their unbeaten run since the all star break. The Dodgers are in town this weekend and if the Rangers can find a way to win that series it will be a dream start to the October baseball and playoffs in Arlington push.

And according to early reports after the game, the injuries to Gray and Garcia appear to be minor bruises - no IL time. That's great news!
And a very nice W to sweep the Rays this afternoon. The HR by Heim was a no-doubter from the instant it left the bat.

Will be very interesting to see what the Rangers and the Astros do as the trade deadline approaches. Both teams should be looking to bolster the pitching staff. Rangers truck the first blow with the trade for Aroldis Chapman - but I don't think they're done yet. And the Astros also need some pitching help.

Since both teams need pitching help, it will be interesting to see if one makes an "offensive " move to deny the other of the pitcher they want.

^Schedule. Astros playing Oakland (worst record in MLB) while Rangers host Dodgers (Leading NL West). Astros view this as their big chance to make up ground on the Rangers.

Yes, but the Dodgers are having struggles this season - not enough pitching. There will be a lot of Dodger fans in the stands, but hopefully, the Rangers can outscore them in 2 out of the 3 games.

Friday night we have on the mound:

Andrew Heaney (6-6)
Tony Gonsolin (5-3)

Don't know anything about Gonsolin and am too busy to look up his stats... hopefully the Ranger bats can get to him early.
