Nice start to the post all star game run with two straight home wins over Cleveland and I actually got to watch yesterday on FS1 since it wasnt on Bally's to whom, like many Ranger fans, I refuse to pay blackmail money. August and the dog days are looming but Bochy seems to have a recipe and I have to admit I am excited to see what is coming. my brain says no way they stay ahead of Houston but y heart and my Ranger giddiness are definitely saying something else.

Rangers take advantage of walks and follow with some timely hits to plate four in the bottom of the eighth and win 6-5 to sweep the Indians. Very nice sweep - now it will be great if the Angels can knock off the Astros in Anaheim tonight...

Sborz goes to DL for at least 2 weeks

Smith is most dependable mid-to-late reliever.
Chapman is the impressive CLOSER! Threw a sinker 102.5 MPH on Sat.

Chapman appears to be a brilliant get by Chris Young at the right time!!!
