2022 Recruiting - Football

Juvenile by definition

Anyway some are saying its one of the Westlake DEs, not Robertson.
Yes, that was a Westlake player who had a tshirt made with Ewers picture on it just so he could stick the medal in his mouth and look stupid.

Shogun, yes they are by definition juveniles in high school. But at some point you need to learn how to behave towards an opponent. Gamesmanship during the game is one thing, days later is another, at least in my opinion.

Crystalballs coming in for Conner Weigman to a&m. That’s interesting. I heard someone say even though Cade Klubnick’s parents are aggy, that he wasn’t a lock to go there. Though Weigman is a damn good QB as well.

I dont think we actually offered him

Justin Wells on high 4-star OL Banks

OL Kelvin Banks, Summer Creek (2022):
As a four-star .98 composite, Banks is one of the most coveted of the in-state linemen. The 6-foot-5, 300-pounder holds 22 offers, including Alabama, Auburn, Texas A&M, and OU. The District 22-6A first team selection at offensive tackle as a sophomore had a solid junior campaign. And he knows exactly what he wants to improve on this offseason.

“My pad level on the run block and strike of hands," said Banks. "I want to bring a person who is able to be coached and dominate in college."

I'm not certain who stands out early for Banks, but he's at least narrowed it down to 14. “Every school that’s was listed in my Top 14 - Texas, Oregon, Texas A&M, LSU, Utah, Ole Miss, Alabama, Auburn, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, Texas Tech, Arkansas, UH, and Arizona State - recruits me a lot, but no more then the other school.”

Texas extended Banks a re-offer last week and it means something to the big tackle. “The Texas offer meant a lot to me being my dream school." said Banks. "And their message was to start a legacy more than football. Getting Jaydon Blue was a real big pickup for the Horns."

For a position of immense need in Austin, the staff has prioritized the big man from Humble.

I'm hoping the commitment of Blue will really help us pick up a few high level offensive linemen we need about 6 of them. If Texas can get one of the top QBs in the class it will really help show that our offense is going to be good and all we need is the big uglies to make it go.

We will get a good QB.

Bo Davis is looking at three 2022 DTs inside the state
Bear Alexander (Denton Ryan)
Jaray Bledsoe (Bremond)
Kristopher Ross (North Shore)
Ross - “Coach Davis told me Texas wants to build a relationship with me, and he was telling me he likes my game.” Bo Davis coached at North Shore way back.

We did offer Ross
Yet once again, ou offered before us. I dont know why we let this happen so often on the top guys

Days later? I presumed (perhaps incorrectly) that the pic was taken on the bus right after the game (still has on eye black).

I think the photo was on the bus but it appears the shirt image was photoshopped and the tweet went out days later.

Is there an update on her condition? Only about 4% of women survive Triple Negative, and there are only a handful of places and oncologists that know how to successfully treat it. (MD ANDERSON IS NOT ONE OF THOSE PLACES!)

I lost my best friend to it February 23, 2013. Picture of health. Ran 5 miles every morning before going to work. Worked out in gym five days a week. Health food nut. MD Anderson gave her 90 days to live, but she fought it, found her own clinical trials with no help from MDA, and survived 3 1/2 years, all but the last 2 months was quality.

Two years & two weeks later, my daughter was diagnosed with it. I tried not influence her, but she had heard her dad on too many tirades about Catholic Healthcare Incompetence & MD Anderson. By the Grace of God, thousands of prayers including a bunch from HornFans members, regular correspondence from members like YellaDawg, she celebrated her fifth year clean this past September.

Of course, there are a couple of executives at MD Anderson that have no idea how lucky they are because of the pure TRASH they spewed. Management actually told my daughter, "You are one of a kind. We have never seen a patient with your genetic makeup. YOU ARE WORTH TENS IF NOT HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN GRANTS & DONATIONS TO US."

The latest update was from late August:

“On June 12, I received a diagnosis of triple negative breast cancer and since then my stage two tumor has shrunk to half of its size thanks to my chemo that I’ve been on, which has been Cytoxan and Doxorubicin, also known as AC,” she said. “So if anyone is familiar with that, they know what I’ve been going through. Next, I start Taxol and that’s going to be once a week and I actually start that today.”

Hale is being treated at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Arizona, but she revealed that she is planning to relocate to Georgia in the near future, a decision she made after visiting this week to help Kelee as he recovered from surgery. She also thanked everyone for the outpouring of support.

This is hard to believe:

Besides his shoulder injury, 2020 was still a tumultuous year for Ringo. His mother was diagnosed with cancer, although she went through her chemotherapy treatment and has since been declared cancer-free. Playing in the Peach Bowl could be the start of a much better year for Ringo.
