He needs to walkon at Tech. Their new OC will make him a terror. Besides, Tech tuition is a fraction of TCU & SMU, and Lubbock is two evolution cycles ahead of the Third Ward.

Tech had an Abilene kid named Lyle Leong a few years ago, he played with Taylor Potts. Eakin reminds me of him. He had some good years for them

I hope there are no hard feelings on either side. Sark gave him a chance but it just didn't work for the team down the stretch. A good mutual parting of ways.
 
Thank you. I thought I remembered that he graduated in three years, which is damn difficult to do, but almost impossible while playing football. I thought he had two years of eligibility left.

Correct, I did mention St Louis is a specialist. Considering all the other more important immediate needs I was wondering why we would spend a scholarship on him. Seems to me long snapper would be something we look for after we've filled other more immediate needs. Its just one scholarship, but one seems to be huge today.
 
Can there be a more important position in the kicking game? Thinking about all of the snaps I have seen just this year that the punter or holder had to reach for causing a bad kick or even no kick.

I'm not totally dismissing Card yet.
Although rumor has it he may transfer also.
He looked better towards the end of the year.
And another spring and fall under Sark and in the system, you never know.
Watch out for Maalik. :)
He has the grit.

If he enters the portal with Casey good luck to him. Hard to believe we would have two highly rated qbs so butt hurt about us going hard after more talent. Transferring is the new way so it is what it is. I hope he stays and shows the fortitude and determination it takes to be a leader.
