Buzz around this Texas-OU game from a recruiting standpoint is as strong as I can remember in last few years. I’ve heard from a ton of coaches and kids trying to make it to Fair Park.

Someone in this forum wanted to lock down the state? Have to take care of business on the field and the beast will be unleashed.

Today's kids, especially top recruits are so pampered it aint funny. In some respects its not their fault. Its kind of a natural progression to get full of themselves by all the attention. Most of them learn to be a team player when they work together and bleed together at their respective School.
 
Hopefully Stewart will get his head screwed on straight, and quickly. Wherever he goes, in high school, in college, here, or elsewhere, in football, and in life, he'll eventually find out who has the power all right... (hint, it's not you, young Mr. Stewart...) Get it together bud, most of us would like to have you here.

It would be ashamed for his exceptional athletic talent to go to waste.
 
What was the kid's name out of Florida? Brian Williams?

4-5 star, committed to Florida, sexual assault on one of his visits to Gainesville. Donna Shalala forced Coker to take him, but a couple of more charges and he never got registered with the convicts. He then announced that he was accepting an offer from WVU, but RichRod said he knew nothing about it, and WVU had no spot for him. NEOA&M said "NO". (When if ever did they reject anyone?) The school of last resort (directional Mississippi juco) rejected him. Supposedly was going to some community college in LA, which didn't work out. Think he played at one juco and then tried the "we wannabe the NFL" minor league.

Great talent, might have been one of best college LBs ever, BUT he wasted the opportunities.

Sounds like Baylor or Miami material.
 
There was a big uprising in Coral Gables when Shalala forced Coker to take the kid. If you are too awful for the convicts of Coral Gables, you probably ain't gonna fit in anywhere in civilized society.
