2022 Fall season

Looking at schedule, after Stanford, the next four matches will not be competitive. UC-Davis, Denver, Houston and High Point are not good. UC-Davis got killed by #18 Oregon this last weekend. Houston might be a decent match but maybe not. So after Stanford, the next good match will be start of conference….Kansas.

I think that will be a good thing. After 4 top 12 matches we could use a few to figure out our rotation and get everyone some reps together before B12 begins.
 
A little help. Is Singletary hurt? I saw posts somewhere that said our other MB opposite O’Neal was a hole. I thought Bergmark did a good job there. So is Bergmark better….or is Singletary not ready or hurt?

Singletary is going to redshirt this season. Jerritt said she is a great talent but there is too much depth at MB. A redshirt is perfect for her.
 
Texas takes set 1 over Stanford 25-18, match streaming on Pac12 Network.

Eggleston leading the way with 6 kills, Phillips and Skinner not far behind with 4 each.

The team looks really good early on hitting .457
 
No. 1 Texas Volleyball smashed No. 12 Stanford, 25-18, 25-18, 25-20, in front of a crowd of 4,059 at Maples Pavilion on Sunday afternoon.

The Longhorns (4-0) picked up their first road win over Stanford in program history after being 0-7 all-time at Maples Pavilion.
 
Bella making her mark:

Texas opened the second set a little slower before pulling away for another 25-18 win to take a 2-0 lead. Eggleston had six more kills in the set, while Bella Bergmark added two kills and two blocks.

Been extremely impressed with Bergmark. There's absolutely no drop off when she comes in, she could even be better than Asjia. Although her style is different, I think she's like Molly in that she could probably be a MB or OH.

Any idea why Bergmark still doesn't have her name on her uniform? At least they having a matching jersey now.
 
Is the team available for autographs after the matches? Bringing my 12 year old granddaughter to the O-who match.
