Good, hard match that pushed them last night. Seemed to let down a little in the 3 set and dialed it back up. Setting struggled at times but these competitive matches make us stronger. If Minnesota had eliminated the service errors it problay would have gone to 5 sets.

Apologies and I will remove it if this is not the proper place to post this--- I am going to fly in with my 12 year old granddaughter to watch a match soon. I see some good seat are available on Stubhub etc. Any suggestions for fun things to do with a 12 year old will be greatly appreciated.

Service errors were one of the stories of the game for Minnesota, who finished with 19 on the night compared to just eight for UT. Agree the difference in the game.

Agree that service errors by Minnesota was a huge key. In the past, the Horns service errors were a huge albatross. With Fleck and Halter, it has turned. Not only are they digging like crazy, their consistency and excellent serves have been critical to success. Refreshing.

Did you hear the interview with Chris Beard during the vb broadcast? He said as a coach at Texas that if you don’t finish in the top 4 you are not invited to the company picnic.

Baylor, who somehow climbed 7 spots from #16 to #9 in the AVCA poll this week after losing to #5 MINN but beating #3 WISC, lost to an unranked Pepperdine team tonight. BU is now 1-2 with matches against SDSU and UCSB still to cone in the next two days.

KST is 4-0 after beating a couple unranked P5 squads and Kansas is 3-0 after beating #22 Utah.

OU and TTU are both 3-0 but have had cupcakes so far.

ISU, TCU, WVU, BU already have 2 losses.
