2022-2023 Other B12 Teams

There is a new stat being kept for lady raider basketball. It's called "AT". AT means "after Texas" - or, how your season goes after you put your entire reason for living into one game against one team, win that game, and then celebrate like its your last day on earth, while you and your fans claim world supremacy. So how is Krista's bunch so far "AT" this year? 0-3 including tonight, and having been outscored by 42 points combined in those 3 losses. :e-face-shades:

Apparently, other fan bases starting to grow tired of the South Plains' Drama Queen:

And then from the Queen herself - when asked about her daughter's career-high night (in a 12-pt loss), she quickly changes the subject to allegedly "unclassy" Okie St. fans. And what did those fans do? Why, they apparently "cuss[ed]" at her precious players. OMG. Has this woman actually ever attended a game in Lubbock? Give me a f#%*ing break!!!!!

I lived in Lubbuttock 18 yrs; including 3 as undergrad/grad @ ttu. I attended COUNTLESS men's & women's tceh games. I attended exactly 0 games during which opposing players, coaches &/or fans were not cussed or worse. Gerlich is simply a cry-*****. Nuff said.

So maybe Gerlich wanted to divert attention from the amazing feat accomplished by one of her own players- 6 fouls on the box score! Picked up a technical after picking up her 5th foul.

If you know the really poor history of Kirby Smart and his hirings and then subsequent firings of coaches, you'll know that he's going to keep her as long as she's not abusing players, mentally or physically. I'm surprised he still has a job because his track record is pretty embarrassing as an AD.

Oh I’m sure he’s very supportive of Coach (smoke & mirrors) SandWitch. She’s the perfect fit out there with the lack of class she has. They also TRULY think she’s a snappy dresser with all that tacky crap she wears to coach games

I know I’ll be a big West Virginia fan today but between ISU and Bailor I don’t know. I hate to but probably bears because we’ve already beaten them on the road and I like our chances at Moody. We still have “Hilton Magic” to contend with
 
Baylor beat ISU in Ames moving the cyclones a full 2 games behind us.

OU is 1.0 game behind and BU 1.5 behind the Horns
 
Sandwitch has KSt. coming to the hell-hole at 1 pm today (you know, the place where fans supposedly aren't mean to other teams' players and coaches). This was one of the 3 W's that I thought she'd get out of their last 12 games, but after KSt. beat ISU, maybe this one isn't a gimme after all. We shall see.
 
I’m going to have to hope Baylor wins tonight based on the standings and knowing we have the bears at home and still have to play in Norman
 
I stopped watching with BU up by 14 with like 7 minutes to go thinking it was over. Go back to check the score and OU up 5 in OT. What happened?

Baylor up 5 and gave up a layup. Threw the inbounds pass away to a OU player who promptly kicked it out to a wide open Robertson. That forced OT. OU pretty much dominated OT.

Wow.. BU looked like the better team the 33 minutes I watched; they must have really choked at the end.

This is their BU’s 4th conference loss and 4th home loss of the season. Mulkey probably had that many her last 3-4 seasons combined.

Definitely a program that appears to be headed in the wrong direction. Never thought I would say that.

Darn. We're really gonna have to win that game at Norman. The only other challenge they might have is at OSU last game of the season.

They do go to Lawrence and with as much as they rely on offense, a decent defensive team like KU could sneak one over on them.

But you’re probably right, this was their best chance for a loss left. They have gotten all of their really tough games out of the way, and we still have 3 remaining.

I turned it off at the same time. I thought Baylor had put the game away as OU’s defense couldn’t keep Baylor from scoring. For 3Q’s, Baylor was the better team.

I’m shocked that OU won the game.

Yep... things that both Vic and KA always preach... details... mindless mistakes at the most inopportune times. That's what cost Baylor that game.
