247 saying Coach Flood should be having a Zoom call this evening with OL Austin Uke of Dallas Parish Episcopal.

He will be accompanied by someone from the engineering program so they can do a presentation on what that department has to offer.

Uke said it is his preference to be close to home if he can find the right combination of school and football program.

 
Another transfer name Texas is looking at is LB Ovie Oghoufo from Notre Dame, according to 247.

He obviously has a connection with Coach Joseph, and a decision could come soon with Texas near the top of his list.

There is some talk that OU isn’t sure whether or not they want to take him, and Texas seems to be putting the press on. I was told that members of the Texas staff have some optimism when it comes to Gray, and they feel they can potentially close him as long as he doesn’t get scared off by the rising star of Bijan Robinson. I was told Gray wants to make a decision very soon and it could come as quickly as today. A source I talked to late last night said that while Oklahoma has been lukewarm on him, they felt he would choose them if the Sooners pressed. I’ve heard he wants an opportunity to compete for the lion's share of carries and there is some concern about how many carries there would be to go around considering Bijan Robinson’s rising star. ​

Is Jonathan Gray coming back?
 
Besides Gray and LJJohnson,we are supposed to be pushing for all of Uke, Lawrence and Abiara

Kyle Flood has been all over Uke since landing at Texas, and he’s looking to turn the heat up this week. ​

Nacogdoches safety Dillion Williams​

But no offers made ..... yet
There is basically zero info on Williams which might means Gideon was tipped off by one of his coach friends


 
On Tennessee transfer RB Eric Gray...IT believes OU has the lead on Texas as of this morning.

He visited both campuses over the weekend.

 
Kwiatkowski and Choate immediately took a run at JT Tuimoloau
He is #1 overall nationally per 247
Kwiatkowski recruited him at UW
Sounds like its way too late though (Bama & tOSU)
Still, worth the shot IMO
 
We are also making a run at ND transfer OLB Ovie Oghoufo (6'3,215). He was a 2018 and has no CB picks from anyone yet at the portal site. he did not play much there, but no doubt knows Joseph

Yeah, I don't think this is a marriage that will work, if he's looking to get the lion's share of carries. I was wondering how a pitch of "compete with Roschon for 5-7 carries a game" would go over. ​

He is not going to get a lions share of the carries at Texas

Dillion Williams is the son of a former MLB outfielder
His trainer has him in the 6.2-6.3 60 range, and he has the "frame to be molded."
Has offers from Southern Miss and Wyoming, and broke Brandon Jones single-season interception record at NHS this past fall.
They say one reason there is no info on him is bc their season was disrupted a lot due to the virus from China, and no one attended their games
