Kwiatkowski and Choate immediately took a run at JT Tuimoloau
He is #1 overall nationally per 247
Kwiatkowski recruited him at UW
Sounds like its way too late though (Bama & tOSU)
Still, worth the shot IMO
On Tennessee transfer RB Eric Gray...IT believes OU has the lead on Texas as of this morning.
He visited both campuses over the weekend.
Bryce Foster is an idiot
Williams has better length. Thinking of 3 TE sets ISU uses. They say Marsh is "unlikely" so if we do anything at safety with the 2021s, then Williams might be it
And Galloway has had way too much time to developJoey Galloway thinks Herman deserved more time. Maybe Charlie too
"The question is when you say recruiting, and it makes me wonder how attractive this Texas job is," Galloway said this week. "Since Mack Brown was there they've been in a struggle. Charlie Strong only got three seasons to get it done; then you got Tom Herman gets four seasons to get it done. When you're talking college football, and it takes time to recruit, within three years you have to hit home runs right now, young guys that can come in and play. They're not giving people a chance to develop players.Joey Galloway: Texas hasn't given coaches chance to develop
"It's like college football, not just a Texas, but everywhere is trending in that direction where you got three or four years to get it done. It takes longer than that when you're a program like Texas that has struggled for years. It takes longer to flip that roster."
I agree that Herman needed at least one more year. But it didn't work out that way and what that means is that Sarkisian will have two or three years at the very mostAnd Galloway has had way too much time to develop
Apparently Galloway doesn’t understand Texas, and doesn’t understand that when the HC throws the program and traditions under the bus, he cannot survive. None of these “ Profiles in Courage” pundants get it, or have the balls (if they do get it) to go against the prevailing woke culture. Of course, if they did, they would risk being fired...so they sell out.And Galloway has had way too much time to develop
If you alienate the BMD and the fans, doesnt really matter what you do after that, you are on thin ice. Galloway is just a running mouth, much like government in that they tell you what to do even though they dont know how. Has Galloway been AD and had to answer for hires and their results/actions??? NoI agree that Herman needed at least one more year. But it didn't work out that way and what that means is that Sarkisian will have two or three years at the very most

I think we will get a commitment this week that will make Hornfans happy.
Come on LJ. Come right on down to Austin, Texas !!

Sanders now No. 13 on Rivals
Clearing the bank is a high hurdle Sabre.Joey Galloway writes an eight figure check (that clears the bank)
Why would they have several 4 stars ahead of him? I thought this was going to be #13 in nation vs. state when I first saw he got 5 stars.
Besides Gray and LJJohnson,we are supposed to be pushing for all of Uke, Lawrence and Abiara
When the administration pulls the rug from under him on the middle of his third year, no one can recruit. For the Board of Racists it was more important to reetsblish the Ante Bellum South than to address institutionalized racism. Achieving equal rights has been very hard for them for the last 155 years. When you are competing against non power 5 schools for recruits at Texas then it is time to go. Especially when you only get 1-2 players out of the top 35 in the state of Texas.

You just had to go there. The man, who many on this board liked including me, had a losing record. He was lost. When the administration pulls the rug from under him on the middle of his third year, no one can recruit. Of course neither does a "World Class University" have the resources to compose a new non racist school song. Just way too insurmountable a task. Being sociably equitable is so hard.
Charlie argument rings a bit hollow as some other unpopular clown lost to Rice in his third year at Texas and was allowed to keep coaching. There is a difference: he went 8-4 that year and 4-3 in conference, won a bowl game, and the teams record improved. But he lost to RICE!!! I would also say that his schedule was really soft playing at the end of the SWC and against a Gibbs OU team. So I think it was unfair/a bit inconsistent that Charlie did not get a 4th year. Obviously, Charlie would have ultimately failed...Galloway was making a very high-level comment. He apparently didn't know that Herman needed no developing. Herman's arrogance was proof of that. He walked in saying things like, "alignment" and "the binder" (Or was it the notebook) and it was apparent to us that his self-image was that of a big-time coach.
As for Charlie, you just can't lose to Kansas. Not any year. To lose to them in his third year was proof enough that he was not going to get it done.
It's not just wins and losses (or maybe it is). It's the eye-ball test. Does the team look well-coached. We can understand the talent levels and if the cupboard had been bare, a great coach would have performed similarly to Iowa State. That's what was missing.
