2021 NCAA tournament

Just think where we would be if we were shooting 40%! Seems like Celeste has a lot of open looks, but she's hesitating then dribbling. She looked so confident against UCLA.
 
Down by 7 at the half I'll take it. We need some offense. That weaving is not working and our defense is keeping us in the game. If our folks would just cut hard to the basket we could get some easy looks.

Lock down defense and like Carolyn peck said Charli must get involved and score!

And if she doesn't I'm looking to Celeste and Allen Taylor and Lambert to pick up the slack.
 
Seems to me that we've been competitive and just haven't taken advantage of our offensive opportunities. Holding the Terps to way below their season average. We have a chance here!
 
Warren needs to stay in this game! Right before the half she floated down the lane and was wide open, but wasn't seen. Would've been an easy bucket.
 
Charli has got to stop getting the ball knocked out of her hands after she grabs a rebound.

The dribble penetration followed a pair of quick passes to lead to that last bucket was beautiful.
 
Not many people had Texas in the lead to start the 4th Qtr and Maryland not scoring 80 points on their bingo cards I’m guessing. Except for Texas that is!
 
Something is wrong with Ashley or she’d be in the game. Saw her and Coach Lovato coming back on the court late when the third quarter was starting
 
We're having a little trouble figuring out how to break down their zone, but I love how we're patiently working at it rather than rushing up the first shot we can get.

Another positive is that Celeste is out-hustling Maryland on both ends.
 
I don’t care what happpens( I hope we win) but this is truly inspirational basketball like I almost wanna cry I’m so invested. They are truly leaving it on the floor have nothing to be ashamed of no matter the outcome cause nobody picked em

Absolutely awful call. Literally never seen that before in any basketball game in my life.

A block simultaneous to a shot, on a player guarding the passer and not the shooter, when the passer kept on going after the pass with no regard for what was in front of her. Only ever seen that as a charge or a no-call.

Not surprised by the 5 sec violation, sadly. Our inbounding plays are often lacking. We've struggled with a fair number of them this tournament.
 
Dribbler had a clear path to the basket there and intentionally altered course to run her shoulder into the defender. I hate how at all levels of basketball that usually gets called on the defense. It's stupid.
 
Ugh, Charli screened but forgot to roll on offense, setting up the shot clock violation. Then on defense, she stood there right next to Bibby not even attempting to box out as Bibby easily out-hustled her to the board.
