According to the Baylor message board, this is our non-conference schedule. Not sure where it came from as I didn't see it on our official athletic site.

That has to be the worst non-conference home schedule EVER in the history of our program; but, I kind of knew that would be the case when Vic was telling the media that other programs didn't want to come play us in Austin (true or not). Sad way to close out our final non-conference season at the FEC.

Agreed. I am one unhappy fan.

For those interested in recruiting, this photo got a "like" from two key recruits, Darianna Littlepage Buggs (2022 #24 ESPN Hoopgurlz) and Breya Cunningham (2023 #4 ESPN Hoopgurlz). It's rare that Littlepage Buggs "likes" any school-specific Tweets or posts on IG and it's encouraging to know she's paying attention to us. It will be a dogfight with all the powerhouse schools for Cunningham's commitment.

Finally! Aside from the powder puff home games, that's a really good non-conference schedule. It should prepare us for Big 12 road games and the post season play. I really love that we're heading to Aggieland, and I'd bet almost anything that road game at Princeton is intended to simulate and prepare our youngsters for teams like ISU and KSU.

Princeton is an intriguing game - would make me much happier if it were in Austin. Definitely the best Ivy WBB program - same number of players in the WNBA as Texas (2).

They could've at least gave us mississippi state in the challenge instead of playing A&M again
I'd much rather play the Ags again. Close in proximity, fans can attend... I hope we find a way to have them on our schedule each year until we move over to the SEC.

The home non-conference isn't very good but the overall non-conference schedule is tough and will be very challenging, especially playing a team like Stanford on the road so early in the season. The road non-conference schedule should have them more than prepared for conference play.

I was curious if Princeton would play in Austin next season. Based on their schedules in the previous few seasons, they usually don’t travel farther west than Philadelphia. They did participate in a tournament in Cancun a couple of years ago and visited Iowa and Missouri during the 2019-2020 season.

Conference schedule released. Not a conspiracy theory guy but isn’t a Baylor game usually one of the Longhorns’ last few games? In a season where this Texas team is expected to be much better later in the season, the 2nd game against the Bears is February 6. :e-thinking:

It's tougher earlier this upcoming Big XII season. The good thing is that both ISU and BU are home games the second time around.

Hmmm.... :e-thinking:
