JF, and others that follow recruiting outside the 40 acres. I’ve become a Georgia fan in recruiting. I never really liked Kirby, never was really sold, but after the way he handled himself in the post game presser, I became a fan. Whenever there’s a battle between the teams mentioned above, I’m pro UGA.

I always thought they had a lot of talent under Mark Richt and I kept predicting them to win it all. But they never did. He was not who i thought he was. I think they only won the SEC twice under him and finished in the top 5 maybe two or three times in ~15 years. Overall, that had to be a disappointing period for them. And now Smart has kicked it up another notch. He seems destined to get them there (but, as noted, I was wrong about the last guy).

Some of the comments from Bijan's family really lend good insight as to the "culture" we keep hearing about.
While most probably hear that word and think of the hard work and expectations placed on the players on field, I think we are starting to see a real clear view of a program built on some sustainable, ethical, wholesome even?, values and virtues.
This is not an anomaly. Those paying attention will see that, while some top programs do go a very different route, there are a few building - and succeeding - the "right" way.
I said a couple years ago it appeared atm was attracting a certain kind of recruit....and the culture there would not prove, over time, to be a sustainable or commendable one. More news leaking out from FSU wake and a few recruits and transfers out of aggy continue to point this way.
I know it is popular these days for cynical rush to judgements on comments about anything virtuous - and there's a couple on here who will be chomping at the bit to bite back at this innocuous post even - but, if what I am saying proves to be the case, I for one will be very proud to be a Longhorn.
We keep hearing the word family from recruits and parents....We are beginning to get more insight as to what is driving it.
Let's hope these values do seal the deal with the Robinson clan.
And the beauty is...the more people you bring in that "get it" ...and fit "it"...
It is self-perpetuating.
That is how you build to last.

He will announce at All-American Bowl -- but he likes Texas. ... alot.

4-star CB Joshua Eaton who, until lately at least, has been considered a hard aggy lean. But he came by last Friday, and now coming back again

 
Apparently Auburn is making a hard push for Chris Thompson Jr
He has pushed his announcement back to Sunday

I mean seriously; are they now promising the riches of avarice? The HEAD cheerleader instead of the one on the end?
