2020 Recruiting - Football

Horse ****!

Marcus never wanted to go to OU, HE HAD TO!

Marcus quit on his team in the fourth quarter at about the 25 yardline on the West side, north end of the Cotton Bowl when Richard Peavy broke both their helmets..

Barry almost broke his neck trying to get Marcus back in the huddle when he forgot he had a on a headset, which about 10 yards on the field gave him whiplash. That was Marcus' last play at OU.

The dumbass writing the article either discovered the truth and doesn't dare print it or just needed to fill space to get paid.

To my knowledge, those responsible for the downfall of Marcus Dupree are still alive, and none were ever on OU's payroll although they did get paid.
So refute the article with your knowledge of the irrefutable facts. Just saying it is not so has the aroma of horse manure.

The you tell me why Marcus went to OU since it has never been revealed in print or media.

Just because some jackass who doesn’t know **** writes it doesn’t make it true. Nobody will ever reveal the truth unless it’s on their deathbed.

Burntorange LH , I don’t know where you were back then but I don’t have to research it and believe some fictional account. I knew both former players and big money donors at OU that told me all I needed to know when this ACTUALLY was happening. Not a made for television fantasy version.
Spencer’s Tillman put it about as diplomatic as he could as a player on his team back then when it was going on.

So special knowledge, right? Any easy to assume cloak.

You should research some more.

and it doesn’t seem like you know much about OU football either, (I’m guessing you have a California background from some of your post)
Because if you think anything OU does is going to be a permanent black mark on their program you really need to research that along w the above. That is way to funny.

Never lived in California, but I did learn the difference between "to" and "too" in Texas.

Moving on, I feel free to now disclose that my friends on the OU BoR disclosed to me decades ago that Switzer had no suspicion that Bosworth was on the juice.

Dont understand what you mean by the first part of this...but if you believe your friends on the 2nd part regarding Bosworth and Switzer , you must of been born later than the 80's and your OU friends didnt know much about OU football either.

I had friends at MacArthur High in Irvine that would roid up with him. He was juicing back in his sophomore year there. If Switzer didn't know it's because he didn't care.

BTW almost everyone was using roids back in the 80's. Just about everyone at Texas was on the juice.

You know, grammar, syntax, spelling and vocabulary are quite distinct aspects of English? But to some people, Shakespeare is just a brand of fishing rod, right?

Only if you like crappy fishing gear from Walmart.

I'm sure there is a nice English / Grammar forum you can visit instead of polluting the football forums. It's pretty obvious, you know a lot more about grammar than sports, politics, or the economy. Or maybe you can give us a legit sports take in perfect iambic pentameter.

But hey, it's pretty awesome you went to the University of Texas and all. (I'm pretty sure this last sentence broke all kinds of grammar rules that you will tell me about).

while it is obvious that people are social distancing (good job mofos) and maybe a little stressed, I appreciate that we're all on the same team here. Go Horns! Go America! Go World!

And yet we have a bunch of liberal Nazi posters here spreading their national socialism. So I call it like I see it. Grammar Nazi is a Grammar Nazi.
English is not easy. Why most have to attend school, pay attention and read. English is a very rich language for those who learn it.

So many people get on here through their phones. phones autocorrect. i think it's funny, but never serious to poke at those things.

TFB says the potential addition to the 2020 class is CB Jahdae Barron (Pflugerville Connally). Prev committed to Baylor but now released from his LOI. He is a 4-star by both 247 and the Comp (#24 CB nationally). TFB thinks it will happen if we formally offer
