Jay Boulware came from OU. I've heard a theory UT could try to bring him in (although it would probably be unprecedented). Maybe someone in the know can tell us how many UT players end up at OU and vice versa...

Why would Sermon come to Texas where he would probably be 2nd or 3rd string. I could see it if we were going to Move Roshon back to QB then it would be a smart move. Either way it would mean he would have to go head to head with Ingram and I'm sure that isn't the reason he is transferring. He is going to end up at a place like Clemson or Ohio State where he can be handed the starting job for a legit playoff contender.

I am sure aOSU has influenced him already. At UT, he could be anywhere from 1st to 4th string. At aOSU, he will play.

Perhaps the most famous would be Joe Don Looney - freshman year at Texas on track scholarship and transferred to OU to play football. Helluva RB when he wanted to be and a great punter.

Paul Moriarty (OL) transferred after the 1989 season and played, perhaps even started for the Sooners in ‘90 & ‘91. Don’t recall anyone else from the ‘70s onward.

Monte Johnson played at Amarillo Tascosa alongside Danny Lester and came to Texas. He transferred to OU after a year ( his family were all big OU people). He was a good punter for them in 69, 70 and played DB too.

Monte Jonson and Danny Lester were great athletes!! Tascosa had some really good teams back then! DKR recruited Amarillo and the panhandle well as did Fred Akers!! Still some talent up here!!
