Karen is on the Junior National Team selection committee (U18 through U23) until 2020 so she’s definitely attending Sedona’s session. No reason to think she’d miss the opportunity to see the younger players.

Aaliyah Moore still on the list as a 2021 prospect is impressive. I don't envy the coaches who have to cut the list to 12 players. There's a lot of talent in that group.

Jones, who turned 17 this week, has had home visits with nine schools: UConn, California, Louisville, Notre Dame, Oregon, South Carolina, Stanford, Texas, and UCLA. She will cut the list to five and do another round of home visits. She said she has not planned or scheduled any official visits.

The list of finalists for the U17 team. These 18 players will go to training camp and then the list will be cut to 12. Celeste Taylor, Hannah Gusters, Rickea Jackson and Zia Cooke made the final 18.

There are so many great sounding players. Now, if we can nab one or two more to go with Celeste, we will be in high cotton. (Rickea sounds on another level, Prechtel sounds great, Zia looks fantastic, Gusters must be really impressive, and on and on.) There are certain big names I assume will be going to UConn. I won't mention them, but, from reading the UConn board, you pretty much know who they are. After all, when UConn calls......

The final roster of the USA U17 Team will be named today. What a difficult decision it is to cut six players from the finalists. Regardless of the final decision all of the invitees are elite players.
