Jake reminds me of the swift feet of Forrest Gump....just sayinWill Jake Smith remind us of Jordan Shipley?
Only if we get him a roommate. Will Jake Smith remind us of Jordan Shipley?
The little head trumps the big head 99% of the time, but the big head should make the right decision also.Holland and Roach put in CBs for Shepherd to UT

2019 WR target Elijah Higgins was in Austin and on campus for an UOV visit on Thursday.
He is supposed to come back on Friday June 8th.

Could we possibly steal one out of Charlie Strong's back yard
I think they literally play in Charlie’s back yard, just behind the line of shrubbery and crepe myrtles
I can't figure out what exactly is the strength of Charlie's resume?Could we possibly steal one out of Charlie Strong's back yard? What a coup that would be.
"They say" the visit went well. He is friends with Woodard and Jamison
Holland says "It's safe to say Texas hit a homerun tonight."
Cooks says Shepherd said he wont visit aggy this weekend as originally planned. He’s gonna see some other schools and plans to get to College Station at some point this summer, along with Georgia and Bama.
So, its not over

Depends on your definition of upper hand. If you believe all of the people paid to guess, aggy has the best player in the State plus one almost as good. Texas, on the other hand, has better quality across the board.heating up on who has upper hand (I believe we do) and this particular battle

Once again why is Herman giving North Texas to ou and aggy?
Good post...and good question posed at the end.
The upper hand I am referring to is a program I believe will prove to be more marketable and resonate with the right kind of recruits...as well as one that will prove it more on the field.
Rian Davis is impressive.
Up til this point....as far as head to head battles go...they've got a few we've got a few - usually with multiple teams in the mix. The way things are trending between us and ags feels like spotlight is heating up on who has upper hand (I believe we do) and this particular battle ...currently sitting at 50/50 per 247 seems like one you want to win....
Interesting... I've never thought of that.I've always heard that NTX is advantage OU because it's closer of a drive to Norman than to Austin so the parental units might like that.
He sounds like a guy that will take a lot to sway away...though there are some other heavy hitters in the mix and who knows what all goes on...Getting a commit from Shepherd (as some were suggesting might happen last night) would have bumped us up somewhere around #5 or 6 in the 247 team rankings.
YesWill Jake Smith remind us of Jordan Shipley?
Nope. Same distance and same fight on 35.Interesting... I've never thought of that.
I could definitely see it being an easier drive in and out of Norman seeing as how there is nothing and no one in Oklahoma to slow you down.
