Ohio State gets first commit in two years.

Sure looks that way. Wonder if we will get a decision from Christyn (making her final two) before we have to make a decision about Queen before her visit to BU?

If Christyn's time line is still accurate, she will name a final two about a week after her UConn visit. So, this time next week we will be awaiting her top two choices.

She will announce her commitment on November 10th.

The Baylor fans are certainly trolling Queen Egbo to come to Baylor. She retweeted this comment and I've seen one other. I believe Baylor has the last official visit with her! Not a good sign. As much as I don't like Coach "Be careful what you wish for" she is one heck of a salesman with that home spun Louisiana drawl. Plus she does have a couple of National Championships on her resume. I was really hoping Texas would get Queen and I though she was a Texas lean but I'm now so sure now. She's sure not giving out any clues other than wearing a lot of Texas gear on the posts we have seen. Sure hoping the Texas players are working on her behind the scenes!! She is taking her OV to Mississippi State this weekend.

For Queen, it could come down to how each team plans to use her, and the depth at her position, especially, with fellow signees in her class.

After Charli committed to Texas, Baylor fans especially were suggesting that there would be no room (or minutes) for Queen at Texas with Collier and Prince already on board for 2018. Now, Baylor has commitments from frontcourt players Na'Lyssa Smith and Aquira Decosta; not sure anyone knows for sure which position(s) they will play in college. And, just like most athletic 6'1 to 6'4 players coming out of high school, they probably have dreams of playing on wing moreso than inside.

As for as other frontcourt players on the respective rosters, Texas will most likely have Jatarie White (senior), Joyner Holmes (junior), and Rellah Boothe (soph.). Baylor will have Kalani Brown (senior) and Lauren Cox (junior).

Miss. State has two frontcourt verbal already. Florida State has none.

Personally, I think Queen can play both Center and Power Forward in college; don't think she has much of perimeter game, so she is likely to play down low with her back to the basket. She is a rebounding machine and very good shot blocker; who doesn't want someone like that on their roster?

Also, as it pertains to Texas and Baylor, adding Queen to their roster could have an effect on 2019 front court players like Taylor Jones; so, there could be some strategy and longterm planning involved.

I have not thought this out like Moooooo, but, if we only have one 'ship, maybe it would be better to get another guard/wing (e.g., Christyn). I've only heard about Queen being a paint player. But, heck, she does sound good.

Lefties are great. IMO, the average defender just doesn't defend them as well. Christyn would add that element, but isn't Rellah a leftie (different position, of course)?

Since I don't think we have room for both Queen and Christyn, I will happily take whichever one decides she wants to be part of our Longhorn program. I think they can help in different ways, obviously, but both would be key contributors.

Isn't that before Christyn announces her final two? Hmmm. Wonder what that means. I can't imagine what goes on behind the scenes. If Queen doesn't come here, I might make a wild guess that she liked FSU and will choose it. (Hope not B.U.)

Just a few days until Charli Collier makes her official visit to Texas. Perhaps Sedona Prince and Audrey Warren will take their official visits, as well.

My guess is Zarielle Green. Those who "liked" the tweet include two mom's of players in the DFW area, as well as Duncanville teammate, 2020 Hannah Gusters. Apparently, Zarielle removed her prior pro-Kansas references from her twitter page.

Starr Jacobs, Green's Duncanville teammate, has just decommitted from KU and committed to Houston. Wonder how many of that trio will end up staying committed?

Christyn Williams stated that she would name her two finalists a week after her final visit (last weekend). Wonder if that means she will name them this weekend or at the beginning of next weekend?

Queen Egbo announcing the Tuesday after her Baylor visit doesn't sound that great for anyone except BU. Still hoping we have room for both her and Christyn. The numbers could work, depending on what some current players' future plans are.

My source was 1 out of 2 last year. S/he was confident Texas would get both Rellah and Megan Walker. This year predicts Queen to FSU and Christyn to Texas. The numbers have been taken care of.

Is that a prediction based on having an inside connection, or just a gut feeling?

If we can't get both, that's an okay outcome with me.
