2018 Recruiting - Football

There is a good backstory with this PWO
He is the great grandson of a Longhorn legend. His full name is Matt Wilson Frost. The Wilson comes from his great grandfather, Wilson Homer “Bull” Elkins, who played football for the Longhorns in the 1930s and is recognized in the Texas Sports Hall of Honor.
And he goes by Frosty on twitter

He need to stop where he is. if he gets faster all the other OL are going to hate him when they have to run windsprints together.

Or maybe he could sprint with the linebackers and tight ends?

What are other possible new additions for OL if we miss on Anderson (whom I realize is a later-date possibility)? Are there any other possible/probable new OL we are looking at for tomorrow? I am not really seeing any...
 
Nahlin thinks we have legit shot at Bush

But Roach thinks he sticks with Baylor ("because of the long-term relationships")

There are a couple guys noted several pages back -- one from tOSU and one from Rutgers -- but they dont graduate until May

Agree that even with Jones (now in) and Anderson (hopefully) we are still light OLs on the roster
Two head coach transitions within 4 years cost us a lot of OLs. And then Wickline was not quite the OL recruiter/recognizer of OL talent we hoped he would be.
It sucks and I hate it

It does suck and we all hate it...

IMO the OL issues go back into the last years of MB.

Missing out on recruits, coaching changes, attrition, injuries all contributed to the OL malaise. Horns have been unable to build a solid / decent 2 deep much less 3 deep roster for the OL that would foster OL cohesiveness, build some consistency and potentially keep players in the system for 5 seasons. Far too often the OL has had true frosh and RS freshmen starting / playing, throw in some injuries and you've got guys moving around far too much - we've seen what OL youth and inexperience gives you.
