Supposedly, there are 3 or so that haven't decom'd yet but are quietly checking out their options and other schools with interest.

2016s

"I’ve spoken to a source close to the Texas program and I’ve been told that Texas is not likely to pursue any of the 2016 Baylor signees outside of an offensive lineman. The specific name mentioned was, as you’d expect, Patrick Hudson. I am assuming there would be interest in Urquidez as well but his name was not specifically mentioned.

Yesterday, Taylor Hamm of 247sports reported that Hudson, “is seriously considering asking for a release from his letter of intent.”

I spoke to one of Hudson’s family member’s today who said Hudson, “will be transferring”. So, it sounds as though a decision has been made. The source also confirmed that they have begun the process however the process is still ongoing of course and with the NCAA there is no telling how this will play out.

The source mentioned that if a release is granted the four possible landing spots for Hudson are Texas, Georgia, Texas A&M and Alabama"

*************

– UPDATE (3:08 pm): I spoke to a second source who confirmed that Texas is in fact interested in a name outside of the offensive line group…Parrish Cobb. I’m told that Cobb will also seek a release and the schools he is considering are Texas, TCU and Georgia.

If we did add both, we would bump to 8th in 247 composite

It should be noted that the average star rating in 2016 was actually higher than 2015. The 2016 class was ranked lower due to lower number of commits. This is scary good in the sense that I thought the talent in the 2015 class was outstanding. Adding 2 more adds talent and numbers to the 2016 class.

Hudson would be a great addition.

I wish Devin would reconsider. I'd like more talent on the offensive side of the ball.

Patrick Hudson is top of my wish list. This is fun having another recruiting season just a few months later.
If Charlie didn't have those Failed to Qualify recruits in the last class, we wouldn't have spots open. Ironic, isn't it? Goes to show that if you work hard, luck goes your way more often than not.
