Just got back from the Academy at 281 and 1604 in San Antonio, where the line for shirts and hats stretched for more than a block by the time I left. And that's one Academy in one city in this great state. LET THE PARTY CONTINUE!

I must admit, I cried a little. I don't expect to get my voice back for a couple of days. I'm having flashbacks of all the days of living and dying with the Horns. Brett Stafford hitting Tony Jones to steal one from the Pigs. R.D. Lashar missing to give us a win in the RRS. Poor Chris rolling snake eyes in the Big 12 CG. WE ARE THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! If I wake up and this is a dream, I'm gonna be pissed. I'm old enough to remember '69 and '70, but not '63. God, it's been a long time. Congrats Vince, you're one for the ages. Mack, you've won the biggest of the Big Games. Wow.
