Was DB Scooter Monzingo the last player to wear number 20 before Earl did?

Used to pass him in Jester West every morning on my way to class. Always spoke to me. Been the entire class of '77's hero ever since!

Scooter was the punter 1969-1970. Bill Bradley punted 1968 and before. Honestly did not remember Scooter wore #20.

After Earl wore #20, it was retired fairly soon IIRC.

Roster from 1978 and a few years later would tell us what player wore that # later...

I looked it up. Dan Steakley rb from Colorado City last wore 20 before Earl arrived.
And Scooter Monzingo wore 20 in 1969 before Steakley arrived in 70.
And then appropriately it was retired forever.

Almost knocked him to the ER. To this day Robinson still gets a panic attack when he sees the number "34".

No dispute - Tucker was terrific at Texas and has certainly proven his abilities in the NFL.

I cringe every time I watch that Tucker post-kick celebration. Basically gets horse-collared by his own team and comes down awkwardly on both legs. Lucky he didn't break anything.

Justin Tucker is the G.O.A.T. He's a first ballot NFL Hall of Fame Inductee in my opinion. That guy is nails!
