Women tattoos

I too am old school about this subject - I personally don't care for tattoos on women. I suspect many women with tattoos will one day regret they got them and will get them removed.
 
my girlfriend has a cross on her left shoulder.

she and i are gonna get tats in the next few weeks. i'm getting the state of Texas outline below my armpit on the side of my left rib cage. i want to add something into the boundaries, but i'm not what... either color in the whole state with the Texas flag or maybe a dead armadillo... hell i don't know..

she is a lady though. she doesn't want a tramp stamp.
 
Spiritual tattoos are cool in my book but all the others are lame. If your tattoo can't help you dodge bullets, run through walls or ward off evil spirits and **** then your tattoo is just ink slowly blurring under your skin.

A friend of mine got a sperm swimming up her inner thigh. Needless to say she was drunk when she got this. Also, it's the ugliest damn thing I have ever seen!

I'm sure some of you saying that you would never be with a woman that has tats would hesitate to be with Angelina Jolie or Pam Anderson if given the chance. Doesn't seem to bother Brad Pitt. It's a woman's body to do with what she pleases. Just like a guy can do with his body what he pleases. The body is going to be either burned or buried when it's gone after death anyways. So to each his own!
 
I dont mind tatts that girls have under their clothles but I think a big tatt on a girl's arm is fugly.
A couple buzzed by us on a harley doing about 90 on I 45 in Houston on Sunday, the chick had tatts from the shoulder to the wrist, some ugly stuff.
 
I actually do not mind tattoos, just dumb ones.

Never got one myself, not because I don't like them, I just never thought of anything I would like for more than a fleeting moment.
 
I used to think it was hot, now every middle class suburban soccer mom to be has one. Before I was married I preferred my women more than a little on the wild side. A tat used to be a good way to spot this kind of chick. By the end of the 90's a tatted up babe was as likely to have the disposition of a librarian or accountant than a free spirit.

On a lighter note, I had the pleasure to take in the many fresh tattoos on a 400 plus tub of goo at the lake last weekend. This blew me away. I mean if you want to accentuate your body, you might want to start with trying a salad or two rather than putting a foot long butterfly on the folds of your back.
 
sanf , that's one of the whiniest posts I've ever read. Your wife has, as most people, made some good decisions and some bad ones. You think the tattoo is a good one. Fine. Oh, and,

What I don't get are having Chinese, Japanese, or any asian cultures writing tattoed on you and telling people this symbol means 'awesome', or "that's my name in mandarin".

You think asian people run around getting english letters tattoed on them, cuz it's the cool new thing to do?

Yeah, I probably posted a bit too much personal info (hey, I was having a few drinks at the time). Regardless, the point is that it's nobody's business what an individual does to their own body and there is no need to use demeaning language to describe someone's personal decision.

And my wife doesn't need me defending her honor and could less what other people think (or post). When I was writing my op, she was working.
