Women tattoos

I don't mind it, but just get the freakin' cigarette out of your mouth. Way too many girls in their 20's smoking now. I don't get it.

I hate them on women. If it's visible at all, it's a 100% deal breaker (as far as serious relations go

).

Can't believe Bible butt has a punctuation error in her tattoo, oh wait, yes I can.
Could we throw in a gratitous remark about piercing while we are criticizing tattoos?

i have a pretty big tat on my back. i still like it, but i dread the fact that it will have to be redone (black+sun=not good for tat). that ***** hurt like holy hell and took several hours. it is nothing trendy, so i doubt i will get sick of it anytime soon. it's been several years and I waiting a couple of years after i knew what i wanted.... jsut to be sure.

i totally agree with airportlobby. all or nothing.

i know a guy that has a peanut butter and jelly tattoo on his head. people can be really strange.

2 tatts here.... I drew both also. 1st tatt was done several years ago, and it is 3 chinese astrological glyphs for my 2 sisters and I. We all 3 went together and got it tatted together. It was all our 1st tat. So it was sentimental to me, as is the 2nd one. It's a butterfly, but each wing has something different in it. It's in memorance of my Mom who passed at a young age of 39. I wouldn't get anything tatted on me from a tattoo shop wall. It would have to be something I drew.

I was thinking about getting a Trans Am on my left arm and then "Van Halen" on my right. You know, just so people will really know what kind of man I am.

I guess they used to novel, but now everyone has one so what is the point?

I do know this - got my first job after graduating UT in '91 in San Antonion. Believe it or not, tatoos were still fairly uncommon. I began dating a 28 year old hippie type who had the aforementioned tramp stamp on the lower back. That was the first one I had ever seen and I dug it. She had it done seen years before.

By the late 90s every chick I banged had one

My first thought when I see a tat on a girl = trashy.

Other thoughts include, she doesn't have the ability to think about things beyond the immediate present, she's not original and does the popular thing, she makes big mistakes when she's drunk, etc.

Not that all, or any, of those is a bad thing.

i find it hard to pre-judge people for doing something i wouldn't do to myself or don't like.

i do get the thought "that women with the tramp stamp is giving up the booty to anyone" or "the guy with his pants hanging off his *** is a thug."

i get that, because i hear it from so many directions. but i know it's, most likely, not the truth.

but i look like a homeless-hippy-thug-nerd quite often, depending on who's doing the looking, so i'm used to having an open mind about stuff that doesn't affect me and really isn't any of my business.

Let me first say that people have the right to do whatever they want with their bodies. If it's their body;it's their decision.

That said, it is my personal opinion that tattoos are a big, short-sighted mistake. I am over 40 now, and I have made many decisions over the years that I later regretted and that -- thank goodness -- were easily fixable/reversible. I don't know where I'd be now if I was stuck with all my bad decisions.

Putting aside an expensive and painful removal process, tattoos are permanent. The design you think looks great now may look stupid to you in a month, a year, etc. Heck, how many of you have the same wallpaper on your computer as this time last year? How many of you wear the exact same t-shirt every day? The desire for variety and change is universal. If you want to paint your body, try make-up...you can change it based on your mood. Try a rub-on tattoo, and then maybe a different one tomorrow.

Finally, as stated by others, all tattoos get duller & uglier with age. Think ahead! You have to hang on to this body for a few more decades.

the trans am on one shoulder and van halen on the other reminded me of a guy who used to work out at world's gym over by highland mall. he had "whoopdy fuckin do" on one and "la d fuckin da" on the other.

I have a longhorn tat on my left delt. I got it the same night my wife (then girlfriend) got a butterfly on the back of her neck. We did it all on a whim after a very big day for us, and while none of you might think either one of them is "symbolic", I assure you they are.

I have an idea -- live and ******* let live. Sorry to pollute your field of view.

My TA and VH tats are very special and meaningful to me. They represent an intense one-on-one relationship between me, the car and the band. This is a very special relationship I do not expect anyone else on the planet or in the solar system to understand. It's very, very private. It's probably worthy of a movie, or at least a best selling book.

Tats on women are only cool if they are really meaningful.

My girl has a cute teardrop that she got for killing someone in prison. I respect her for that.
