Did you see the ratings drop for the NFL?
Let that continue and we will all see how this turns out.

To insure that our players are properly motivated against the miners of UTEP, Herman needs to tell the team that one particular miner, a black man named John Henry, was basically murdered by the white mine owners when they employed modern machinery in the mine to keep POC down. BLM!

Watched the pre game at 7pm, 5 minutes of propaganda and celebrating convicted felons. I'm done as well

Watching the Stars game, any inkling of BLM or SJW nonsense and the tv is off. I want entertainment, not a lecture

The announcer comment during moment of unity in stadium was rather tame...differences shouldn’t separate us. Maybe they were trying to avoid booing.

I heard sterns and ossai and wasnt impressed. Just a bunch of immature children.My 6 year old granddaughter has more insight to the world. Am watching the game but I feel nothing for these players. Would like to know what happened at the anthem and eyes of Texas.

More participation than usual I would say. Team was in locker room. The players carried the flag onto the field.
 
Team does not do the eyes. Granted there is no band and the student section is in the opposite corner where the players leave the field. Also the eyes was played while the players were meeting the opponent team. All orchestrated to avoid booing.
 
Pure cowardice by CDC and the UT Administration. Their convenient way of cancelling The Eyes without officially cancelling The Eyes.
 
I don't feel dirty for watching because I did nothing wrong.

Loved the football. Disappointed in all the surrounding things though. Playing The Eyes as background music was a cowardly betrayal of generations of alumni. Instead of educating the youth, the university is being led by their foolishness.

They played it before the players came on the field like normal and right after the game when the players are walking across the field to greet the other team.
 
I didn’t watch. It was hard, but sounds like it was everything I expected so I’m thankful I stood strong. I guess from the posts I am most disappointed in Del Conte.
 
My avatar pic which I've had for years should explain how I feel. The most important time before and after the game is singing the Eyes in UNITY. Just playing it as background music kills, in my opinion, the best tradition in college football.

No Anthem, no Eyes....this university has just F'd itself. Sadly after we are all dead the younger brainwashed generations will just move forward not knowing what just happened.
