It wasn’t the best article, I admit. Since the Mueller team is now mostly discredited due to being run by a rabid Clinton supporter who bent the law pretty badly underneath Mueller, I think the judge and Flynn’s attorney are looking for any technical reason to get the charges dismissed. Trump was right - it was nothing more than a political witch hunt.

Barry, if politics alone was driving this, DoJ would be prosecuting Comey as well. They declined to do that.
I can believe they'd prosecute him for political reasons, but if that's the case, why not do it to Comey? It's an easier case to prove, and he's a bigger prize.
