Here's Austin's very own Eric Johnson playing Jimi Hendrix's "Are You Experienced" about as well as anyone not named Jimi Hendrix could play it outside the studio.

Eric doesn't seem to seek the spotlight and, IMHO never really got the credit he deserves as one of the better living rock guitarists.

What a top-notch vocalist--Steve Perry. Many don't now that he admired, and modeled his voice after Sam Cooke. If Steve hadn't gone into rock, he could have been a high-level crooner, a Vegas-style lounge singer, or even an R&B star like his vocalist hero Sam Cooke.

"Lights" has got to be Perry's best.
