They will double team our TE’s after they get burned in the 1st half and blitz our qb before Quinn has time to find an open receiver. Bama’s plan is to overwhelm our OL to disrupt the QB. If the QB can get the ball to RB or WR, we will be able to move the ball or make a big play.I’m a little surprised at your lack of confidence in our TE capabilities
There is an alternative if Sark is bold enough - play 3 TE (one blocking, two receiving) where doubling up is not possible. Then we might have a chance. Yes, we take 1-2 WR off the field, but I think it is worth it all else equal.I’m a little surprised at your lack of confidence in our TE capabilities
My guess this game will have the widest disparity in predicted spread for the season.Bama 55-21. Just wait till SEC Champ game in 2025 though!
Not sure we want to be playing in a phone booth... I can see a lot of 12 or 21 personnel. Let ROJO chip their ends. If they load the box, the screen game to mid passing has a shot. We likely get just run down by a deeper, more developed front 7 and O-line. But hey... why not us?There is an alternative if Sark is bold enough - play 3 TE (one blocking, two receiving) where doubling up is not possible. Then we might have a chance. Speed is irrelevant in a phone booth, but “moves” are. This is where our guys cut the mustard. Not sure we want to be playing in a phone booth... I can see a lot of 12 or 21 personnel. What was your aggy vs App State prediction? I bet it was equally inaccurate, if not more so.Bama: 45
