What an embarrassment - hope CDC is paying attention…
A 10-8 Texas State squad beat us at a neutral site; something is wrong. I have tix to the 4/8 home game against the Bobcats, just hope our pitching staff can rally and somehow, someway, eke out a win over a superior opponent.Oh yeah lets fire the coach. SMH. CDC was at the game tho, saw him on my way to the concession stand.

Its doesnt have to be a safe space in order for it to be a place for rational discussion of our teams strengths and weaknesses. When u start off reacting to a non-conf loss by intimating CDC needs to heat up the coach's seat, I figure rational discussion will not be forthcoming. Perhaps I am wrong.
Maybe we have a talent deficit and maybe it’s not Pierce’s fault. I follow NIL fairly closely for football, but not baseball. How do we measure up against other baseball programs when it comes to NIL money?
I have to wonder about the amount of NIL money being allocated to baseball as well. That's one thing that would NOT be Pierce's fault - and would rest with CDC instead. But, it seems hard to fathom that CDC wouldn't understand that college baseball is one of UT's flagship programs (even if not in revenue terms). That is, UT is easily in the Top 3 of collegiate baseball programs of all time (arguably only behind USC and LSU). Are we really going to let that slide due to others spending more NIL? I hope the hell not.I have thought about this a lot lately. It is my understanding we are way low in baseball NIL money. On TSU they said if we were in the SEC now, we wud be dead last. So that cud very well be the issue and I am confident that if Coach Pierce tells CDC that its a problem, CDC will get it fixed and fast. I do know it was an issue when we lost Kash to TTU, but beyond that, IDK. I just hate that we wud be in a spot where the reason the team is not where we wud like is because we cud not afford some players we wanted.
And he hits a 2 run homerun--his first of the season. This next batter only bats 0.208, so he couldn't possibly be a threat.
