Will be without Derek Williams for 1st half. He was figuring it out and getting better with each game. Can Catalon finally make some plays?
Will Catalon be healthy?

This sounds vaguely correct as it happened to another player/team last year. Bowl games are not regulated by the ncaa.Just read some. ore posts on X, again no idea if factual, but word is rule states "next regular season game".
Inside Texas Football on one of their YouTube videos today addressed this and Gerry Hamilton said that Texas can choose to have this suspension carryover to next season. This is of course if the appeal gets shot down. Will be without Derek Williams for 1st half. He was figuring it out and getting better with each game. Can Catalon finally make some plays?
Watching the evening edition right now and Gerry reread the rules and believes that he might be out the first half of the Washington game.Inside Texas Football on one of their YouTube videos today addressed this and Gerry Hamilton said that Texas can choose to have this suspension carryover to next season. "Their receivers are just so good at finding space and exploiting space..."
Exceptional route-running: "It's amazing how open these receivers are, using standard concepts..."
Very good use of the TEs.
Penix throws a good deep ball and their big receivers go up and get it.
Play only a single high safety against UW at your peril. (you will regret it)
Their OL isn't so good at run blocking, but they are adept at picking up the blitz.
And our lads had better watch more film than Siskel & Ebert. Our safeties will have their moment in the sun to step up and shine. This is why they came to UT instead of settling for UH, Baylor, Okla State, etc.

They just don't care about the running game. This is like Mike Leach at Texas Tech with the use of TEs added into the mix.
On paper--that's pretty generous to us.Texas opens as a 4.5 point favorite. Let's see how this moves over the next month.
Looks like Vegas is giving Texas a bit of a home field advantage in New Orleans anticipating a Texas crowd.Texas opens as a 4.5 point favorite. Let's see how this moves over the next month.

Exactly. Our safeties will have their moment in the sun to step up and shine on the biggest stage in the Nation. This is why they came to UT instead of settling for UH, Baylor, Okla State, etc.
My UT degree is in Chemical Engineering. I have had actually pretty good experiences with a couple of Alabama ChemE's. Michigan and Washington engineering colleges are top notch. Not as good as UT's Engineering College, but damn good nevertheless.Honestly this final four is a pretty damn good academic Who's Who, minus Bama.

Our area is getting an influx of skilled labor from Alabama. By and large they are good folks and not obnoxious about Bama.

you would think that with only 3 rushers we would have extra players in the secondary to COVER RECEIVERS TIGHTLY. But maybe there is some secret nuance that I am not aware of that allows for open receivers and YAC in these situations. Can anyone help a brotha out?I wonder what he thinks of Coach K’s 3 man-rush?
