UK may vote to leave the European Union

So I'm in the UK right now and came across this. If I was an eligible voter here, I would definitely sign this petition.

If the UK can't pass that tax cut petition they will never pass a tax cut there.

Great example of the effect of tax effects on small business as a whole.

The latest London Bridge terrorist was released from prison after just 8 years (got 21 years) despite plotting to bomb the London Stock Exchange. 2 people now dead because of that. Could have been more. This pic shows the people brave enough to confront the terrorist. I dont know why the one guy was carrying a 5ft Narwhal tusk, but it worked.

It took a Pollack in London to fight a terrorist? It is like it was in France or something.

Western European "men" are largely a bunch of passive weanies. They've had their assertiveness and masculinity beaten out of them, so most of them probably ran away from the guy. Eastern European men aren't that way.

It's like the Thalys train attack. It was a train going from Amsterdam to Paris. There were undoubtedly a ton of young men of Dutch, French, and other Western European backgrounds. But it took 3 Americans to bring the crazy Muslim down. Three Frenchmen and one Brit were also involved (and two of these were older men), and I'm not crapping on their heroism. They were very brave men whose balls were almost too big to fit through the door. However, in proportion, the Europeans were woefully weak, and it's not surprising. If you raise your men to be *******, they won't answer the call in a real emergency.

Boris is still in a difficult spot and still not sure he delivers Brexit. Farage and those like him will have to influence him in some way or he will continue the Theresa May exercise of trying to please the EU while exiting the EU.

With a strong mandate, he can walk away from EU and sign a trade agreement with the US.

So Boris apparently wins in a landslide.
Is this good?

Yes. The Tories will have their biggest majority since the 1980s. If they can't deliver Brexit now, I'm not sure when they'd be able to do it. This is about as good as it gets. If it gets tripped up at this point, I don't think we'll be able to call the UK a democracy anymore.

One complication is that the SNP (Scottish "nationalists" who actually aren't nationalists) also won pretty decisively. That means that a second referendum for Scottish independence could gain momentum.

Does Nigel like Boris?

He likes him more than any previous Tory leader in recent memory.

Can you guess how Hillary reacted to this latest Brit vote?

Seriously try and guess before you open

Boris Johnson is a Russian plant

That has been the hope for a while. At my age I don't believe it until I see it. I have seen too many expectations fail.

When did Piers Morgan become so wise? He was an insufferable *** only loosely tethered to reality when he was on TV in the US.

You have to wonder what some of those freshmen Democrats in the House are thinking this morning in light of the Brit results.

Maybe something like,"holy crap, how I am supposed to vote for impeachment now?"

I give him more credit than CNN, the WAPO and the NYT. At least he woke up and smelled the coffee (or perhaps tea in this case)

If it fails to happen after this, I think you could see real violence breaking out on a large scale. The public will has spoken very loudly and very clearly - again.
