I can see why the left is so outraged
But actually on many issues he leans pretty left
Who cares if he leans left? If he allows people who lean right, or flat-out lay over to the right to have their say alongside the leftists, then we should all be very pleased.

On this issue yes. I agree. The point is don't put him on a pedestal, because most likely on the next issue he will stab you in the back, climate change for example.

How do you know this? :coolnana:

I went through a short period when I was dumb enough to go to the Yellow Rose and Sugars when other guys I was with wanted to go. Went maybe three times total. Then I figured out how much money I was pissing away and how gross it was, and that was the end.

I never understood why people went to those places religiously. My roommate and his best friend would go to the Red Rose back in the day (I hear it's open again) so often they called it the office. His friend would literally cash one of his paychecks on Thursday (he worked two jobs), go to the Rose, spread the cash out on the table and not leave until it was all gone. Like you I went a couple times and realized I can buy a 12pk+ for what they charged for two beers and would come home wishing I had some of what I saw if you know what I mean. What a waste of money and human flesh.

I met an old roomate in Dallas for RRR. On Friday night we got a steak at Del Frisco's and then went across the street to get a drink at the Ritz (and we had a nice talk with a Longhorn fan). My buddy thought that the 22 year old leaving her card with him to go see her at the Spearmint Rhino really wanted to see him. So, against my stated objections, we went. It was an amazing people watching opportunity. He determined that, indeed, the 22 year old did not want to actually meet up with him. Might as well be lighting money on fire. That was done at the Ritz at the cost of those drinks. :)

Yeah, guys who do that kind of thing are sick, and frankly it's sad. I fully understand the appeal of wanting to have a bunch of chicks walking around you in a thong, sitting on your lap, and putting their boobs on your face. But how much is that cheap and very obviously unfulfilling thrill worth?

Of course, the overpriced booze problem is easy to remedy. You do your real drinking at a normal bar or even at home, and then you go to the "gentlemen's club" and order one or at most two beers for appearances. And of course, never buy a drink for any of the girls. I saw dudes do that, and I never understood the point of that.
