I don't think Trump has a choice because you know how the MSM will spin it, Trump is scared, has to run and hide, 90% of independents won't care about the why. Especially sine Trump has said he will debate her anywhere, anytime.

Of course, they didn't say a thing about Kalama backing out of the Sep. 4 Fox debate, but they will make Trump backing out of this one monumental.
 
It’s nothing but gamesmanship. If Harris is behind Trump in polling, does she have a choice?
 
According to this, it may be one and done. If so, it’s a clue that role of Harris campaign is to provide cover for dem congressional races.

If DJT does proper debate prep, he actually has a really great opportunity to upend her.

He should have about 8 lines memorized and inject 1 at the end of each of his responses.

DJT response followed by....Ms. Harris, in your previous run for POTUS, you championed "Defund the Police" and said so on XXXX date. Please tell us now, why you have adopted the GOP position on supporting our police.

DJT response followed by....Ms. Harris, in your previous run for POTUS, you championed making illegal immigration not a crime. Please tell us now, why you have adopted the GOP position on illegal immigration.

There are at least 8 serious flip-flops that she has done that can be addressed like this.

And for the last 3-4 responses...."My opponent has recently flip-flopped away from very unpopular Democrat positions and adopted GOP talking points. We all know this isn't real. We all know that this is just posturing for the American public. We know that Kamala Harris hasn't really changed. If you vote for her, she will go right back to ultra-liberal San Francisco, CA ideology and failed democrat policies. "
 
She's dying to work in an "I'm speaking" moment that the media can latch onto and make her look like a hero while ignoring the idiocy that comes out of her mouth.
 
“Recalled vote” helps the pollsters to balance their poll results. Recalled vote is asking who did you vote for in 2020. The problem is leftist pollsters are over sampling Dems.

She is going to have to speak without interruption for minutes. Can she do that? Someone pointed out that Trump’s biggest advantage in the debate is Harris speaking without interference.

Team Trump should plant people in the audience who will just start laughing with eye contact with Kamala. Gigglers like her will often start laughing when they see other people laughing.

They're lying, and the media is dutifully reporting it.

QueMala is at a disadvantage because she is an idiot, a communist, and her true, heartfelt positions would appeal to such a small segment of the populace that she wouldn't stand a chance if she embraced the truth. It has nothing to do with rules, and everything to do with trying desperately to maintain the facade for two more months.

Harris' people are upset because Trump's mic will be off. Just like his message about this thing happening, until the stupid son of a ***** learns to act like a professional rather than a ten year old playground bully, he is going to continue to turn people off, and many will stay home.

This is his election to lose, and he's doing a damn good job of it.
