By the way, I don't want to be called a pu$$y, a sellout, a cuck, or disloyal by anyone again. I've been defending Vance on the Haitian cat issue on Twitter today. It's a bunch of crap, and I shouldn't have to do it. I feel like Brad Pitt would feel if he suddenly had to do gay porn, but I'm doing it anyway. I want and expect some points for that. lol
I call the government an abusive spouse. Much more persuasive than “treason”.The government is a criminal organization against the American people. The point isn't cats. The point is treason.
To your credit, to be honest
The Haitians eat cats is a very rare example of right wing propaganda working. If you are going to win at politics you have to win the propaganda war, absolute requirement. The follow up is so obvious. If communists/Dems want to argue about cats, you bring up the crimes that have much more evidence.
He addresses the chicken issue in this long post:I hate having to accept his word on this. It very well could be cat but it also looks like it could be chicken.
The problem is that in most contexts, you'll never get a chance to make that followup. And even when you do, you've already harmed your credibility by leading with a more doubtful claim that's easy to attack.
You aren't considering all the non-regime media that more and more dominates bringing information to people.
Plus, it isn't like the mainstream media refuses to present what Trump and Vance are saying. They have to cut through BS but they a get lots of airtime.
They get airtime, but for every minute of airtime they get, commentators get hundreds. It's a net loss. But either way, an argument never gets more impactful by leading with your weakest and most questionable point.
Never assume what a communist or regime bureaucrat calls "your weakest and most questionable point" is actually your weakest and most questionable point.
The claim about Haitians eating cats was never really in doubt for people who have common sense and don't trust the US regime. We all saw pictures of the Haitian with the duck. How much more likely was it that they were eating stray cats and other sundry animals about town.
Haitians eating cats claims and memes has always been a strong argument against their forced immigration. Is it the strongest? I think their murder and harassments of Americans is a bigger point, but the point is to capture the most minds possible to show them (not myself) the problem. If cat memes does this the best then it is in fact your strongest argument as defined by convincing others that your cause is righteous and your enemies are evil.
Doesn't matter.
I know. It's a weak point no matter who's saying it.
